Technical Authority & Subject Matter Expertise</strong></span></span></p><br><ul><li><span><span>Acts as discipline technical authority for onshore pipeline engineering, approving key technical deliverables and design philosophies.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Demonstrates expert-level knowledge in pipeline routing, sizing, hydraulic analysis, stress and flexibility analysis, wall thickness design, stability and constructability.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Applies sound engineering judgement to resolve complex technical challenges independently.</span></span></li></ul><p><span><span><strong>2. Engineering Leadership & Mentoring</strong></span></span></p><br><ul><li><span><span>Provides technical leadership and direction to engineers and designers across multiple execution centres (Home Office, GID and satellite offices).</span></span></li><li><span><span>Coaches, mentors and develops junior and senior engineers, setting clear performance expectations and supporting competency development.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Promotes a strong engineering culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.</span></span></li></ul><p><span><span><strong>3. Codes, Standards & Regulatory Compliance</strong></span></span></p><br><ul><li><span><span>Expert knowledge of international codes and standards applicable to onshore pipelines (ASME, API, ISO, ASTM, etc.).</span></span></li><li><span><span>Strong experience applying client-specific standards and specifications, particularly Middle East operators (e.g. ADNOC Onshore, AG, QatarEnergy, QELNG).</span></span></li><li><span><span>Ensures all engineering deliverables comply with contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements.</span></span></li></ul><p><span><span><strong>4. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.</span></li></ul> <p><span><strong>Industry Specific Experience</strong></span></p><br><ul><li><p><span>Must have vast pipeline design engineering experience in the Oil and Gas industry industry. </span></p><br></li><li><span>Extensive experience in Pre-FEED, FEED and detailed design of Oil and Gas onshore pipeline projects. </span></li></ul><p><span><b><strong>Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training</strong></b>: </span></p><br><ul><li><p><span>Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement.
