About the job ELV DRAFTSMAN
<p>We are seeking experienced CAD Operators to support ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems design and documentation on a short-term outsourced basis in Qatar. The successful candidates will be responsible for producing accurate, coordinated CAD drawings across a range of ELV disciplines to support project design, shop drawing submissions, and as-built documentation.</p><br>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><br>
<ul>
<li>Prepare, develop, and update CAD drawings (2D layouts, schematics, riser diagrams, and details) for ELV systems.</li>
<li>Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP layouts to avoid clashes and ensure compliance with project standards.</li>
<li>Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and submittal packages as directed by the design/engineering team.</li>
<li>Ensure drawings comply with relevant international and Qatar-specific standards (QCS, NFPA, BICSI, TIA/EIA, etc. as applicable).</li>
<li>Liaise with design engineers, project managers, and site teams to incorporate design changes and revisions promptly.</li>
<li>Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and proper documentation/version tracking.</li>
<li>Support tender and proposal documentation with drawing packages as required.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><br>

<li>Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.</li>
<li>Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on CAD experience within ELV/low-current systems design.</li>
<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) is mandatory; experience with Revit MEP or BIM tools is an advantage.</li>
<li>Solid working knowledge of ELV system layouts, schematics, and cable/containment routing.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Qatar/GCC project standards and local authority requirements (e.g., Ashghal, Kahramaa) preferred.</li>
<li>Prior experience working with MEP consultants, ELV contractors, or system integrators in the region.</li>

<p>The Specialist Surgeon will be taking part in delivery of care to the patient both as in-patients and Out-patient basis. They will be part of oncall rota that involves providing front line care by covering the Emergency department and the inpatient services. They will perform Fracture reductions other emergency procedures in ED when required. As oncall doctors they will also assist in Emergency theatres for orthopaedic cases.<br>As for the Outpatient services, they will be expected to run the fracture clinics under supervision of Attending surgeon. There will also be opportunities to see patients in regular elective clinics under supervision. They will be regular elective theatre sessions.<br>For the inpatient services, they will function within the Department of Surgery to assist in the care of the Orthopedic patients. Care is delivered as part of an interprofessional team. The Specialist is responsible for assessment of patients as well as carrying out the care plans. Care is on the wards as well as in the intensive care areas such as PICU, NICU, and ER. There is a variable requirement for the incumbent to work in other areas such as the operating room and clinic. The Specialist reports to the consultant Attending surgeon, who will have a supervisory role.</p><br><p>Work will involve shift work including overnight shifts in hospital. This is a full-time position with the work hours as dictated by Sidra policy. Participation in scholarly and quality projects will be required.
