As a Chef de Partie, you’re not just overseeing the preparation of high-quality dishes – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Here's what you'll do during a typical day:<br><br> Prepare in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service. Cook and serve dishes according to the restaurant’s menu. Provide direction to the Kitchen helpers, including Commis, Cooks, Kitchen Attendants and Stewards. Clean and re-set their working area. In absence of Manager, conduct shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known. Work with Superior and People Services Manager to ensure the departmental performance of staff is productive. Conduct on the job training in accordance with the departmental standards and procedures and maintain a record of progress for each staff member. Provide input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions in line with company guideline. Ensure new staff attends Corporate Orientation within first month of hire and departmental orientation is completed within first two weeks. Coach, counsel and discipline staff in breach of hotel policies and departmentalprocedures, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance. Work with superior in the preparation and management of the department’s budget and be aware of financial targets. Recycle where-ever possible and enforce cost saving measures to staff. Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements. Communicate to their superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment on and other relevant information. <p>It is part of your role to understand and disseminate/communicate all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures to the colleagues.<br>

You shall take all reasonable steps to safeguard stored information and not divulge or otherwise transfer any personal data concerning the guests, customers or colleagues, or any confidential information concerning the hotel unless with the appropriate authority.<br>
Use of the hotel’s network, computers or internet access which is in the hotel’s view unreasonable or inappropriate, for example gambling, chatroom, or pornographic material, is a serious breach of hotel policy and grounds for summary dismissal.<br>

<h4>Departmental</h4>
<p>Have a good understanding of the outlet’s concept and food and beverage offerings and be able to verbally explain those to the guests.<br>
Knowledge of mixing and matching ingredients to offer an outstanding selection of creative cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, spirits, beers and wines and be able to garnish all drinks as per the given standards and explain their characteristics.<br>
Support the outlet manager when required to train colleagues in accordance with the applicable standards and policies and regularly update the Standard Drink Appearance file (SDA).<br>
If necessary be able to personally interact and recommend suitable drinks for guests.<br>
Handle effectively any kind of customer complaints being verbal or written and report to managers without fail.<br>
Set up daily bar counter and ensure that mise en place and any other required ingredients and equipment are prepared in order to work as efficiently as possible.<br>
All bottles and ingredients should be set up as per the bar’s standard to assure they are in easy reach and facilitate effective service.<br>
Check the inventory daily before each shift to assure correct amounts are stocked up to avoid running out of stock during service periods.<br>
Assist in carrying out monthly inventories together with the Banquet Supervisor and managers.<br>
Responsible for checking the temperature of the bar fridges and follow the First in, First Out standards.<br>
Assure that correct date labelling is always in place for all related products.<br>
Clean and sanitize the bar areas after each shift and when required.<br>
Carry out periodic deep cleaning of all related bar areas including storage facilities and fridges.<br>
Operate the required steps on the point of sales system in order to process food and beverage orders.<br>
If requested be able to carry out cashiering and daily cash and credit collections.<br>
The bartender will support the server in serving food and beverage, cleaning tables, chairs and work area to maintain a sanitary environment.<br>
Any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the outlet manager including assisting other outlets.</p>
<h4>Colleague Relations</h4>
<p>Communicate well with colleagues and superiors in order to avoid misunderstandings and other shortfalls caused by lack of communication.<br>

Complete other duties as assigned by Assistant Manager.<br>

Maintain complete filing system Maintain necessary stationery stock for engineering dept. Maintain all records and files for local authorities’ inspection, such as: Elevator test report Elevator weekly maintenance report Potable water test report Legionella water test Boiler test report Fire protection system inspection report Fire Alarm system inspection report Kitchen and Laundry exhaust cleaning/Degreasing Window Cleaning cradle test report Gas tank test report Check daily Engineering log book and inform Director of Engineering/ Assistant Director of engineering any energy consumption variations. <li>Provide technical and discipline support for all piping and layout engineering activities related to Ethane recovery project through integrated FEED and phases ensuring that designs, studies and engineering deliverables comply with approved industry standards, safety requirements and operational objectives throughout the project lifecycle.</li>

<li>Lead the piping engineering discipline skill pool recommending the allocation of technical authorities and ensuring the provision of high-quality technical services to projects.</li>
<li>Approve and endorse process engineering designs through delegated technical authorities in accordance with approved standards, codes, and specifications at all stages of the project life cycle.</li>
<li>Review and assess concepts, studies, and detailed designs to assess technical suitability, compliance with standards and alignment with end user operational objectives and recommend optimized technical solutions as required.</li>
<li>Develop and sustain technical competencies within the discipline by supporting capability building, knowledge transfer and continuous professional development of process engineering resources.</li>
<li>Provide technical input to project execution strategies to ensure alignment with discipline and technical requirements, design philosophies and safety and operability standards.</li>
<li>Recommend resources planning and deployment to meet the project execution requirements including technical input to recruitment mobilization and competency validation for process personnel.</li>
<li>Advise and guide project teams on all piping and layout engineering matters throughout all stages of projects that are from concept, FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning and startup phases.</li>
<li>Plan and coordinate the activities of piping and layout engineers to ensure timely and effective delivery of technical services of technical services to project execution and operational support teams.</li>
<li>Support discipline head in managing discipline standards and technical assurance, including implementation of standardization initiatives and compliance oversight across projects.</li>
<li>Approve and endorse technical deviations, waivers and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards and practices within the limits of delegated engineering authority.</li>

<li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering.</li>
<li>8 years of experience in Engineering roles, including 4 years in the oil & gas industry, including 1 year in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of 3D Modelling software (PDS/SP3D).</li>
<li>Senior Piping and Layout Engineering supervisory level with a broad knowledge of NGL Design and Engineering execution on projects including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.</li>
<li>FEED and EPC have detailed design experience with large utilities systems in Inlet facilities.</li>
<li>Skill / knowledge in application of International his area of expertise</li>
<li>Excellent written and spoken English.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills.</li>
<li>Good analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Good communication skills.</li>
<li>Advanced computer literacy involves the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.</li>
