We are a new Qatari-owned optical practice seeking an experienced dispensing optician to lead dispensing services in a paediatric-focused setting. This is a senior appointment with genuine scope. Job Purpose The Cost Control Engineer is responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling project costs throughout the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project lifecycle to ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget and in accordance with contractual and organizational requirements.<br>Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain project budgets, cost baselines, and cost control procedures. Monitor project costs, commitments, and expenditures against approved budgets. Analyze cost variances and prepare cost forecasts, including Estimate at Completion (EAC). Prepare periodic cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports. Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis to monitor project cost performance. Evaluate variations and change orders, ensuring their financial impact is accurately reflected in project budgets. Coordinate with Project Management, Planning, Procurement, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure effective cost control. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and project cost control standards.<br>Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional certification such as PMP, Certified Cost Professional (CCP), or equivalent is an advantage.<br>Experience Minimum 5–10 years of progressive experience in Cost Control and Project Controls within Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
