The role will be responsible for the HV primary substation scope apart from building electrical services, including review of design, review of contractor and vendor submissions, coordination with service lines and stakeholders, supervision of electrical works, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, utility authority requirements, and relevant international standards.</p><br><p>The HV Electrical Engineer will provide technical leadership for HV primary substation systems, including GIS/AIS switchgear, power transformers, HV cables, protection and control, SCADA/SAS, earthing, lightning protection, power system studies, and interfaces with the building electrical services. <p>The Forward Maintenance Manager holds the relevant maintenance authority for their areas of responsibility. They are responsible to the Senior Maintenance Manager for all aspects of the products and/or services they deliver and for adherence to the maintenance programme. They are responsible for the leadership, management and co-ordination of all areas and people under their control. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Areas of Responsibility: Performance indicators Ensure the effective leadership of Part 145 activities by setting delivery targets, monitoring progress and developing performance improvement programmes. Responsible for: management reviews; the assessment of escalated issues for impact on Continuing Airworthiness and generating effective resolution, or sponsoring escalation to senior management, as appropriate. Completion of activities Ensure all Part 145 activities are appropriately documented and the appropriate airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (IT / paper based). Ensure all Part 145 activities are performed by suitably qualified, experienced and authorised personnel. <p>The Program Management Specialist is to provide planning, project programming, project design, project management and other administrative duties as required by a USAF engineering contract. This position will be in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) and it is located at Al Udeid Air Base (AUAB), Doha, Qatar.</p><p><b>Essential Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Provide planning, project programming, project design, project management and other administrative duties as required by the contract.</li><li>Program all projects IAW latest AFCENT Business Rules for the Execution of the Integrated Priority List guidance and DAFI 32-1020, Planning and Programming Built Infrastructure Projects and support the facility board process by participating in meetings, preparing briefings, and inspections.</li><li>Must prepare, maintain and document approval documents, records, reports, and data associated with project programming and make available upon request from the Customer.</li><li>In conjunction with the real property accountable officer, the Programmer will provide a recommendation to the Government regarding if capitalization of any of the project work is necessary. If the Government concurs that capitalization is necessary, the Programmer will initiate a draft DD Form 1354, Transfer and Acceptance of Military Real Property, identifying all work needing to be capitalized.</li><li>Will provide all programming documents to include draft DD Form 1391, DD Form 1354 (draft) and/or AF Form 300 (as applicable) within 30 calendar days of WRRB approval with no more than two (2) missed due dates allowed per month.</li><li>Will assist with the development and maintenance of project data files (including complete project requirements, justification, and environmental compliance criteria data) within NexGen IT or other database as designated by the Customer.</li><li>Will monitor, update, and verify accuracy and consistency of project data including review of all open work on the facility and existing projects on a facility to identify and eliminate duplication.</li><li>Will be responsible to update NexGen IT or its successor within five (5) working days of a change in scope, design, funding, construction status, or project dates with no more than two (2) missed due dates allowed per month.</li><li>Prepare draft DD Form 1391s IAW specific program guidelines.
