The role includes troubleshooting electrical faults, supporting plant operations and maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with electrical and HSE standards.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair: Motors and pumps, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Switchgear and transformers, Power distribution systems (LV/MV), PLC and SCADA-related electrical components.</li><li>Inspect, test, and maintain electrical panels, breakers, relays, and control circuits.</li><li>Assist in plant start-up, shutdown, and commissioning activities.</li><li>Monitor plant electrical performance and identify potential failures.</li><li>Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and wiring schematics.</li><li>Coordinate with operations, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to minimize downtime.</li><li>Maintain maintenance records, reports, and spare-parts inventory.</li><li>Support emergency breakdown maintenance on a shift basis.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work systems.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li>3 - 5 years (or as specified) of industrial electrical maintenance experience.</li><li>Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, or desalination plants.</li><li>Oil &amp; Gas / industrial backgrounds are preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge of:</strong></p><ul><li>PLC systems</li><li>SCADA systems</li><li>VFDs</li><li>MCCs</li><li>LV/MV electrical systems</li><li>Electrical safety standards and procedures</li></ul><p><strong>Typical Equipment Maintained</strong></p><ul><li>High-pressure RO pumps</li><li>Feed water pumps</li><li>MCC panels</li><li>Transformers</li><li>Generators and UPS systems</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.</li><li>3 - 5 years (or as specified) of industrial electrical maintenance experience.</li><li>Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, or desalination plants.</li><li>Oil &amp; Gas / industrial backgrounds are preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of: PLC systems, SCADA systems, VFDs, MCCs, LV/MV electrical systems, Electrical safety standards and procedures</li></ul>
