The role ensures that documents are properly controlled, reviewed, approved, updated, and distributed within established deadlines while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with quality procedures.<br> <br>Key Responsibilities<br> Establish and maintain an effective document control system for all project-related documentation. Manage document distribution schedules based on client, project, supplier, and internal requirements. Coordinate the submission, review, approval, revision, and distribution of project documents. Monitor document status and ensure timely updates, approvals, and submissions to meet project deadlines. Coordinate with project teams, engineers, consultants, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure document revisions are completed and properly reviewed. Maintain accurate document registers, logs, transmittals, revision histories, and tracking records. Ensure all documents are correctly identified, numbered, dated, revised, and filed according to established procedures. Maintain both electronic and hard-copy document filing systems and ensure easy retrieval of records when required. Prepare and distribute drawings, specifications, reports, correspondence, forms, and other project documents to authorised personnel. Ensure that completed documents are reviewed and signed off by the appropriate personnel before distribution. Control obsolete and superseded documents and ensure that only the latest approved revisions are available for use. Follow standardised document control procedures and exercise appropriate judgement when handling project-specific requirements. Maintain document tracking and production systems throughout the project lifecycle. Support project teams by providing accurate and timely documentation and status information. Ensure compliance with company document control policies, quality assurance procedures, and client requirements. Assist with audits and provide document records and reports when required. Maintain confidentiality and security of project and company documentation. <br>Qualifications<br> Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, information management, or a related field. Experience in document control, project administration, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of document management and document control procedures. Good understanding of revision control, document registers, transmittals, and approval workflows. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with document management systems such as Aconex, Share Point, EDMS, Procore, or similar platforms is an advantage. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders. <p>Accountable to ensure that department assigned field projects lifting engineering, coordination, plans, offshore mobilization etc. are conducted in accordance with approved Scope of Work, drawings, engineering design and safety, environment and standards & specifications. Oversee and provide guidance/advice to contractor on all offshore heavy lifts and subsea installation activities to ensure that they are performed as per approved method statements complying with project schedule, quality, and material requirements. Manage and guide the contractor during engineering, review, comment and approve contractor's construction engineering documents in PDMS. Attend engineering workshops such as Constructability review, SIMOPS, Schedule Risk Analysis, 3D Model Reviews, HAZOP, Lifting Plan reviews and provide inputs to ensure that contractor conducts these workshops complying to requirements. Project focal point to manage all lifting activities including coordination with internal stake holders such as PTS, Operations and Project team and external stake holders such as Contractors, third party agencies etc. Participate in all engineering workshops during FEED and EPIC. Ensure Contractor execute offshore heavy lifts, installation in accordance with standards, specifications, and approved drawings. The Protection Engineer will collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of electrical networks and participate in site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities. <br><br>Qualifications:<br>Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required.<br>Strong knowledge of power system protection principles, relay coordination, and fault analysis for EHV, HV, MV, and LV networks.<br>Experience with protection relay configuration, testing, and commissioning, including pre-commissioning, end-to-end testing, and final trip tests.<br>Proficiency in substation industrial electrical system control and monitoring.<br>Knowledge of power system studies, including load flow, short circuit analysis, and power quality assessment.<br>Familiarity with troubleshooting of substation plant equipment protection systems.<br>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced qualifications or certifications in power system protection an advantage.<br>Relevant experience in utility, industrial, or consultancy environments, preferably within the Middle East or similar power system context.<br>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report writing skills, with attention to detail and safety standards.<br>Ability to work on-site in Doha, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
