Manufacturing or garment industry experience in Qatar or the GCC is strongly preferred.</p><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Accounting & Reporting</p><ul><li><p>Maintain the general ledger and complete month-end and year-end closing on time.</p></li><li><p>Prepare monthly management reports and annual financial statements (IFRS).</p></li><li><p>Reconcile bank, customer, supplier, and inter-company accounts monthly.</p></li><li><p>Manage receivables, payables, customer credit limits, and collections.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate the annual external audit.</p></li></ul><p>Costing & Cost Control</p><ul><li><p>Maintain product cost sheets (materials, labour, overheads) and track order-wise profitability.</p></li><li><p>Reconcile inventory with warehouse records and investigate differences.</p></li><li><p>Review costs regularly and present practical cost-cutting proposals to management.</p></li></ul><p>Feasibility, Budgets & Incentives</p><ul><li><p>Prepare feasibility studies and financial projections for new projects, products, tenders, and investments.</p></li><li><p>Prepare the annual budget and report budget vs. actual every month.</p></li><li><p>Calculate staff and sales incentives accurately and on time.</p></li></ul><p>Cash Flow & Banking</p><ul><li><p>Manage the daily cash position and prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and Relationship Managers.</p></li><li><p>Handle Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, performance bonds, and trust receipts.</p></li><li><p>Prepare documents for credit facility applications and renewals.</p></li><li><p>Keep track of financing options in the market and recommend better rates, terms, and banking programs.</p></li></ul><p>Payroll & Compliance</p><ul><li><p>Process payroll through WPS and calculate end-of-service gratuity as per Qatar Labour Law.</p></li><li><p>File corporate and withholding tax returns with the General Tax Authority, where applicable.</p></li><li><p>Maintain internal controls and approval procedures.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Requirements</p><p>Essential</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.</p></li><li><p>4–6 years of accounting experience, at least 2 in Qatar or the GCC.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on cost accounting experience in manufacturing, garments, or textiles.</p></li><li><p>Practical experience with LCs, bank guarantees, and credit facilities.</p></li><li><p>Experience preparing feasibility studies and cash flow forecasts.</p></li><li><p>Advanced Excel and experience with an accounting/ERP system (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Odoo, SAP Business One, or similar).</p></li><li><p>Good written and spoken English.</p></li></ul><p>Preferred</p><ul><li><p>Experience with Qatar tax filing and WPS payroll.</p></li><li><p>Currently in Qatar with a valid QID and able to join soon.</p></li></ul>
