Ensure delivery standard of QR/customer products are met. Aircraft maintenance tasks are accomplished in accordance with laid down policies and procedures. Provide satisfactory support to internal and external customers. Implement solutions to technical problems within his range of his authority, and ensure that aircrafts or components serviceability standards are maintained to meet schedule requirements. Provide guidance and or on the job training to the Technicians and Aircraft Mechanics reporting to this position. <p><br></p><p>Core Duties:</p><ul><li>Ensuring consistent application of Project Management policies, principles and governance across the Qatar Technical Institute (in accordance with the Project Management Plan, Operatonal Framework and LCM Mandates).</li><li>Supporting Contract Closure activities for QTI/Facilities CSRs.</li><li>Managing and coordinating the application of an effective Good Ideas and Continuous Improvement process that will make a material difference to operational and financial performance of the QTI.</li><li>Provide support to the PM Lead in managing, monitoring and controlling the Technical Institute and/or Facilities CSR, ensuring timely and high quality inputs are provided through Management to the Head of the Technical Institute and Qatar Programme. Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>This position is responsible for providing expert quality management leadership and technical guidance across offshore projects, with full accountability for the effective implementation and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) within the Offshore Projects Department.<br><br>The role ensures compliance with Qatar Energy standards, Shell DEP requirements, project specifications, and applicable international codes and standards throughout all project phases. The successful candidate will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of Project Quality Plans (PQPs) to ensure quality objectives are achieved and regulatory and contractual requirements are consistently met.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in the oil and gas industry, including significant offshore project experience. At least 5 years' experience in a similar Senior QA/QC Engineer or equivalent position. Qualified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor; additional quality-related certifications are preferred. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, international codes, standards, and QA/QC best practices. Experience across the full project lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
