Role Objective <br>The incumbent will support the Manager General Underwriting in achieving the assigned premium/service targets in terms of renewal/new businesses of corporate & retail clients. The incumbent will perform assigned administrative/operational activities, in line with legal requirements, industry regulations and internal business / process guidelines, including but not limited to policy verification, system verification /endorsement, stakeholder support, due diligence, market research, data verification, periodic reporting and record keeping. The incumbent will work closely with the respective internal/external stakeholders to ensure delivery of consistent service experience to the General Insurance Customers.<br>Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:Perform all activities, as assigned by the Manager general Underwriting, in compliance with applicable regulations, and internal policies/procedures. Collect and analyze necessary financial/contextual information to process client requests, including but not limited to policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, etc. Provide necessary guidance to the customers and other stakeholders on respective general Insurance underwriting aspects, including but not limited to terms and conditions, processing procedures etc., in terms of new policies and renewals, in line with internal mandates/policies and procedures. Promptly solve / route concerns and other actionable data to the relevant internal/ external stakeholders for timely resolution, in support of general underwriting operations. Negotiate and/or review the terms and conditions of Insurance policies with the customers, and/ or respective stakeholders, as applicable, to arrive upon competitive insurance quotes within authority limits assigned. Ensure verification and processing of policies, renewals and endorsements based on client in Premia, in line with the underwriting standards.<br><br><br>Verify the premium calculation against the auto generated figures from Premia. Work closely with the Manager general Underwriting and the Reinsurance unit on account of facultative placements of the policies. Examine and validate the insurance proposals in SME team received from the clients or from other souring channels, as applicable. Coordinate with Trade Finance Department and review/approve and ensure timely issuance of policies, necessary endorsements. Review / share accurate insurance quotes with the customers, and/ or Brokers or Marketing section employees, as applicable. Determine suitable insurance premiums based on background information and analysis, in conjunction with the Manager. Ensure review/ approval of / issuance of policies, necessary endorsements and prompt maintenance of updated records of policies underwritten/related conclusions/directives. Consolidate and prepare periodic/ad-hoc reports on the premium generated utilizing PREMIA, and, section achievements/progress updates, as and when assigned by the reporting authorities. Perform market research to ascertain necessary information on competitive Insurance products, including but not limited to premium rates, terms and conditions, coverage factors, and industry best practices and update reporting authorities on the same. Contribute towards and assist the Manager in amendments of policies and procedures within the section, in line with the regulatory/market environments and organizational mandates and ensure adherence with the same. Contribute towards the process improvement / quality enhancement initiatives within the section. Deliver consistent customer service experience to the assigned stakeholders on matters related to SME segment Insurance underwriting, within the parameters set by the management. Comply with audit, compliance, procedural control measures set by management and regulatory guidelines. <p>Act as a technical expert for all matters related to Control systems across assigned projects, ensuring timely provision of efficient and reliable services to solve technical issues in the production plant. Support in efficient and cost-effective delivery of Control systems services for assigned projects. Participate in costing and preparation of budgets for Instrumentation & Control systems engineering projects for COMPANY. Carry out feasibility studies and comprehensive testing to support financial and technical viability of new Control systems and provide recommendations as appropriate. Identify cyber security gaps and recommend mitigation strategies to address gaps.<br> Maintain knowledge of the cyber security capabilities of operating systems, networking devices, control systems, and vendor offerings. Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures, and products.<br> Resolve technical issues considering operating impact and be able to communicate issue resolutions to OT organizations. Secure operational technology networks. <br> Design comprehensive technical solutions that meet compliance requirements and implement the appropriate software to mitigate critical security risks (e.g., system and antivirus software, encryption modules, patch management programs, insider threat protection, incident response plans, forensic capabilities, and regulation compliance).
