Position Summary:
The position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Clinical and Faculty Affairs function including but not limited to managing the appointment, promotion, renewal, termination processes of WCM-Q and affiliated faculty members. The incumbent also manages Qatar medical license and hospital privileges for faculty members at WCM-Q.
Job Responsibilities:
-Manages and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Clinical and Faculty Affairs team, ensuring continuity and completion of division’s activities.
-Manages the appointments, reappointments, promotions, and termination of the WCMC-Q and affiliate faculty within established time frames.
-Supports development of the annual plan, including budgeting, faculty salary benchmarking, and planning for events and activities hosted by the unit.

-Manages all requirements for Qatar medical licensing requirements for faculty members.

Manage site activities and resolve technical and operational challenges. Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover activities. <p>Supervise and manage aquatics training staff, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations Develop, implement, and update aquatics training programs and curricula that meet organizational standards and participant needs Ensure strict adherence to water safety protocols, facility regulations, and emergency procedures at all times Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to maintain staff competency and certification standards Monitor instructor performance and provide constructive feedback to support professional development Maintain detailed records of training programs, participant progress, and staff certifications Coordinate with facility management to ensure optimal facility maintenance and equipment functionality Organize and oversee special aquatics events, competitions, and community programs Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards Communicate effectively with participants, staff, and management regarding program updates and concerns Manage training budgets and resources efficiently while maintaining program quality</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Minimum 3 years of professional experience in aquatics instruction, coaching, or training Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team management experience Current certifications in aquatics instruction (such as Certified Aquatic Instructor or equivalent) Current Water Safety Instructor certification or similar recognized qualification Current Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire Strong knowledge of water safety protocols, emergency procedures, and risk management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams Proficiency in program scheduling software and facility management systems Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Physical ability to demonstrate aquatics techniques and assist participants in the water Fluency in English; additional language skills are preferred Valid work authorization or eligibility to work in Qatar</p>
