Role overview Owns end-to-end delivery of data and AI products for one business domain, either Retail or Wholesale Banking Single accountable owner for product vision, prioritization and execution Sits between commercial stakeholders and the bank's Data & AI delivery teams Converts strategic business priorities into scalable solutions and proves measurable value Strategy and roadmap Set and maintain the product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for the assigned domain Work with domain heads to identify where data can create commercial value Stakeholder ownership Act as principal interface between the Data & AI function and the business line Manage competing demands and run trade-off conversations Report progress, risk and dependencies to senior leadership and steering forums Delivery Own the backlog across data engineering, data science, ML engineering and BI squads Write epics, stories and acceptance criteria with technical leads and architects Run sprint ceremonies and drive delivery quality for data products, dashboards, models and AI capabilities Planning and coordination Manage the full lifecycle from requirements through release Handle cross-team dependencies, capacity planning and release sequencing Drive integration into core banking systems and workflows Value and governance Define and track KPIs and ROI for each product Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy and security standards Partner with the governance team on data quality, lineage and ownership
What we are looking for Strong grounding in banking operations across retail, corporate or digital channels Product management track record built in data, AI or digital transformation environments Ability to translate commercial problems into data and AI product requirements Demonstrated experience defining roadmaps, success metrics and ROI cases Credible stakeholder management at senior business and technology level Experience leading cross-functional squads in Agile or hybrid models Working understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, analytics and BIFamiliarity with lakehouse, streaming and API-led architecture
Experience Bachelor's or Master's in AI, Data Science, Finance, Information Systems or similar10+ years across product management, programme management or data and AI delivery Proven delivery of complex data or AI products in financial services or a technology organization Scrum PO, SAFe or PMI PMBoK certification an advantage
