Job Summary<br><br>We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Hydraulics Operations Manager to lead and oversee all hydraulic operations across Qatar. Monitor operational performance, productivity, and service quality. Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.<br>Workshop & Service Management<br><br>Oversee hydraulic pump, motor, cylinder, valve, and power unit repair activities. Ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout all repair and service processes. Manage service schedules, manpower allocation, and resource planning. Monitor workshop utilization and service turnaround times. Ensure proper testing and commissioning of repaired hydraulic equipment.<br>Project Management<br><br>Manage hydraulic projects from initiation through completion. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, engineering teams, and subcontractors. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions when required.<br>Team Leadership & Development<br><br>Lead, mentor, and develop workshop supervisors, service engineers, technicians, and support staff. Establish performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations. Identify training needs and implement technical development programs. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.<br>Customer Relationship Management<br><br>Maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Monitor asset utilization and maintenance schedules.<br>Financial Management<br><br>Develop and manage operational budgets. Monitor departmental profitability and cost control measures. Review service contracts, project costs, and resource allocation. Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and operational savings.<br>Health, Safety & Quality Compliance<br><br>Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Promote a strong safety culture throughout all operations. Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks. Provide regular updates to senior management on performance, risks, and opportunities.<br>Qualifications<br><br>Education<br><br>Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Additional certifications in Hydraulic Systems, Fluid Power, Project Management, or Operations Management are advantageous.<br>Experience<br><br>Minimum 10–15 years of experience in hydraulic systems, service operations, or industrial maintenance. At least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Strong experience managing hydraulic workshops and field service operations. Management<br>· Support tendering, contractor and vendor selection, and contract award processes.· Oversee day-to-day contract administration for main and sub-contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms.· Manage variations, claims and disputes, working with commercial/legal support as required.<br>Commercial & Cost Management<br>· Own the overall project budget, cost forecasting and monthly cost reporting.· Review and approve payment certificates and monitor actual cost against the approved budget.· Manage contingency, change control and cost risk across the project.<br>Schedule & Risk Management<br>· Oversee the master project programme and critical path, ensuring the Planning Engineer's outputs are accurate and actionable.· Monitor progress against key milestones and intervene early where delays are identified.· Own and maintain the project risk register, and lead regular risk review sessions with the team.<br>Quality, HSE & Compliance<br>· Ensure the project Join us.</p><br><br>Job Description<br><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><br><p>The&nbsp;BIM Manager&nbsp;will lead the BIM management function within the PMCM team, ensuring that the Contractor’s BIM processes, models, and digital deliverables comply with the&nbsp;BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project requirements, information standards, and coordination procedures. The role will support effective multidisciplinary coordination and ensure accurate digital information is delivered throughout the project lifecycle and at handover.</p><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><br><ul><li>Lead and manage the&nbsp;BIM function&nbsp;within the PMCM team for airport projects.</li><li>Review, manage, and monitor the Contractor’s&nbsp;BIM Execution Plan (BEP)&nbsp;and BIM deliverables.</li><li>Ensure BIM processes and deliverables comply with project requirements, standards, and information management procedures.</li><li>Oversee multidisciplinary BIM coordination and ensure effective integration of architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and specialist airport systems.</li><li>Review federated models and monitor&nbsp;clash detection, coordination, and interface issues.</li><li>Lead BIM coordination meetings and ensure timely resolution of clashes and technical interfaces.</li><li>Monitor model development,&nbsp;LOD compliance, model quality, and data integrity&nbsp;throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Review BIM submissions and provide technical comments and recommendations to the Contractor.</li><li>Coordinate with the Client, Consultant, Contractor, and project stakeholders on BIM requirements and digital information management.</li><li>Verify&nbsp;as-built BIM models and asset information&nbsp;against project and handover requirements.</li><li>Support the Client in digital asset management and integration of BIM information with&nbsp;FM/asset management systems.</li><li>Monitor BIM deliverables, submission schedules, and compliance with project milestones.</li><li>Prepare BIM status reports, dashboards, coordination reports, and management updates.</li><li>Support the implementation of digital workflows and continuous improvement of BIM coordination processes.</li></ul><br>Qualifications<br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in&nbsp;Architecture, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.</li><li>8–12 years of BIM experience, with relevant experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, or airport projects.</li><li>Proven experience as a&nbsp;BIM Manager / BIM Lead&nbsp;on major multidisciplinary projects.</li><li>Strong knowledge of&nbsp;BIM standards, BEP, LOD, model coordination, clash detection, and information management.</li><li>Proficiency in&nbsp;Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, or equivalent BIM platforms.</li><li>Experience with multidisciplinary coordination and complex project interfaces.</li><li>Experience in&nbsp;as-built BIM, asset information, digital handover, and FM integration&nbsp;is preferred.</li><li>Airport project experience, particularly involving&nbsp;terminal buildings, aviation facilities, infrastructure, or specialist airport systems, is highly desirable.</li></ul><br>Additional Information<br><p><em>At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously. <strong>To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.</strong></em></p><br><p><strong>About AECOM</strong>&nbsp;</p><br><p>AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
