The Rectification Controller reports to the Forward Maintenance Manager and is a skilled maintenance technician undertaking a range reporting tasks prioritizing and allocating manpower. At this level, the post holder requires an excellent understanding of the Typhoon aircraft systems and reporting processes.<br><br>The post holder will be responsible for accurate maintenance and updating of ESS State Board progressing estimates and forecasts of aircraft recovery times. Briefing the Part M organization on the state of the Typhoon fleet and the recovery actions.<br><br>Core Activity<br><br>Provide effective leadership and supervision to team members under your direct supervision Ensuring that all maintenance activities are appropriately recorded and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems Perform Rectifications Control tasking: – Accurate maintenance and updating of ESS State Board progressing estimates and forecasts of aircraft recovery times – Briefing squadron authorised pilot regarding aircraft limitations Undertake and complete tasked maintenance & diagnostic activities on an aircraft or components which may include, as appropriate, aircraft ground handling, flight servicing, aircraft role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test Supervise team to ensure that maintenance is undertaken to schedule and highlight any issues, escalate as required. Responsible for the assessment of escalated issues for any impact on continuing airworthiness and generating effective resolution, or sponsoring escalation to management, as appropriate Procedure/standards – Comply with the regulatory framework, its associated procedures and standards and any other company procedures and standards, as applicable. Identify and propose changes, as required Completion of activities – Ensure all Part 145 activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (IT / paper based). Ensure all Part 145 activities are performed by suitably qualified, experienced and authorised personnel. Ensure the integration of Part 145 activity within the business, including the engagement of key stakeholders at all stages of the process. Provide support and guidance to the team Safety Management System – Promote the application of Human Factors, Error Management, Risk Management and Safety Assurance within the Part 145 team, together with the proactive analysis, mitigation and management of Hazards Management System Assurance – Ensure Part 145 team activities are compliant with the Regulatory Governance and Assurance framework. Ensure Process Confirmations and independent assurance audits are supported by Part 145 personnel and integrated within/across teams. Manage the response to audit findings in a timely and appropriate manner and provide information into the relevant reviews. Generate and implement effective improvements within/across teams to overcome any non-compliance and monitor effectiveness Statutory/Regulatory & Legislative requirements – Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of understanding and application of the relevant continuing airworthiness regulatory framework. Reports To: Lead Cost Engineer Company: Qatar Fabrication Company Location: Doha, Qatar<br>** PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO QATARI CANDIDATES **<br>Primary Functions The Project Cost Controller is responsible for the establishment of project budgets, forecasts, controls and reporting. The role will work closely with the relevant project team and with minimal supervision will be responsible for independently applying cost control procedures, best practices and cost analysis on the assigned project<br>Tasks and Responsibilities Setup Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in line with the approved / as-awarded project scope and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Ensure accurate allocation of project budget and provide control budgets for equipment and material purchase orders, subcontracts, fabrication, fabrication management team and support disciplines. Assist in setting up project specific cost control system based on company internal requirements and project (PMT) requirements. Including but not limited to cost databases and reporting templates/mechanism. Evaluate and analyze cost reports, detect issues and effectively communicate the project’s cost performance, risks and opportunities, issues and concerns to project management team on a regular and agreed periodic basis. Regularly prepare, review and evaluate the project’s Estimate at Completion (EAC) cost forecast - based on remaining scope work, registered expenditures and project commitments. Set up and maintain the project’s change management system in alignment with the QFAB’s approved procedure. Preparation, routing for signature and eventual submission of monthly progress invoice to Client. Provide necessary project data to support project accounting and revenue recognition. Support Lead Cost Engineer as and when required.<br>Qualifications, Experience and Skills<br>Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering or related discipline<br>Experience & Skills: 3-6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
