Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar for a Fire Watcher and Pipe Fitter. The Fire Watcher and Pipe Fitter will monitor hot work areas to ensure compliance with fire safety procedures, maintain fire watch during welding and cutting activities, and respond promptly to potential hazards. Day-to-day tasks include installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems, assisting welders, and preparing pipes and fittings using appropriate tools and techniques. The role involves reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, inspecting work for quality and leaks, and coordinating with site supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines. The individual will follow all safety protocols, participate in toolbox talks, and ensure a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in pipe handling and Pipefitting for installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems. Candidates should possess skills in Welding and TIG Welding to support hot work and join pipes and fittings as required. Candidates should possess knowledge of Steam systems and related piping to work safely with pressurized lines and industrial applications. Experience in fire watch duties, hot work safety procedures, and hazard identification on construction or industrial sites. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, isometric sketches, and piping layouts. Strong awareness of occupational health and safety standards, including use of PPE and compliance with site rules. Physical ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas, as required by the role. Previous experience as a pipe fitter or fire watcher in construction, industrial, or oil and gas projects is preferred.
