<p>Ensure the implementation of all Hospital Facility projects. This includes supervision, monitoring, organizing and implementation of project activities. Responsible for the Hospital Engineering Equipment maintenance and inventory.</p><p>Job Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>(Including but not limited to): Monitoring project activities related to <p>Purpose and Scope: Perform drafting work compiling and organizing engineering and drafting data, designing structures and recommending design changes, and preparing specifications and estimates. This position is in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) and is located at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar.</p><p>Essential Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Create and print custom maps via Defense Area Printing Service (DAPS) or other Government-directed system upon the request of the Customer. Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, including system architecture, scope of work, and compliance statements.</p><p>•<span > </span>Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other associated expenses for proposed fire alarm and fire fighting projects. This involves analyzing tender documents, drawings, specifications, and obtaining competitive pricing from suppliers.</p><p>•<span > </span>Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation: Develop precise BOQs that itemize all necessary components and services for the proposed fire safety solutions.</p><p>•<span > </span>Client Presentations &amp; Technical Clarifications: Present technical solutions and proposals to clients, addressing their queries and concerns. Provide technical clarifications during the bidding process and negotiations.</p><p>•<span > </span>Value Engineering &amp; Optimization: Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization without compromising system performance or compliance.</p><p>•<span > </span>Supplier &amp; Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to gather product information, specifications, and pricing for estimation purposes.</p><p>•<span > </span>Market &amp; Regulatory Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest fire safety technologies, industry trends, and changes in local (QCDD) and international (NFPA) fire codes and regulations.</p><p>•<span > </span>Collaboration: Work effectively with design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to project delivery.</p><p>Key Skills:</p><p>•<span > </span>Technical Expertise: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of various fire alarm systems (conventional, addressable, voice evacuation), fire fighting systems (sprinklers, deluge, foam, clean agent, hydrants, pumps), and emergency lighting.</p><p>•<span > </span>Estimation Proficiency: Proven experience in accurate cost estimation for fire safety projects, including material take-offs and labor cost calculations.</p><p>•<span > </span>Code &amp; Standard Compliance: In-depth understanding and practical application of NFPA codes (e.g., NFPA 13, 20, 72) and local regulations, particularly QCDD requirements.</p><p>•<span > </span>Design Software: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for system design and layout.</p><p>•<span > </span>Analytical &amp; Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex project documents and identify optimal solutions.</p><p>•<span > </span>Communication &amp; Presentation: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences (clients, sales team, technical staff).
