<p>The Procurement Engineer Civil is responsible for managing the procurement of civil construction materials, equipment, subcontracted works, and related services required for construction projects. The position will ensure that all materials and services are procured in accordance with approved project specifications, drawings, BOQs, quality requirements, budgets, and construction schedules, while achieving competitive commercial terms and timely delivery. The Procurement Engineer will coordinate closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Civil Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, QA/QC, Planning, Commercial, Finance, Stores, and suppliers/subcontractors.</p><p>Controlling &amp; Coordinating with the Project Submittits, Procurement/ Contracts, Production, Logistics &amp; Despatch division throughout the various stages of the project to align with project schedule.</p><p>Identify suitable bidders after referring to the project approved vendors for various supplies and services.</p><p>Follows up with bidders and vendors to receive full technical details for the services/materials that has been requested and ensure that all commercial exceptions are properly clarified to ensure that no commercial exposure to the company can take place after placing of purchase order.</p><p>Prepares commercial evaluations for all received offers in a tabulated format that allows for a clear comparison between different offers.</p><p>Negotiate and finalize the best deal by issuing Purchase order/Sub-Contract based on criteria such as cost analysis, Lead time and payment terms and complies all the standard documentation to facilitate the procurement process.</p><p>Arrange and attend regular meetings with concerned department to update them regarding the project procurement schedules and status of procured materials. Reconciles open requests, repairable exchange items and cannibalization items. Establishes and maintains stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports. Assists in validating property book inventories for equipment at the sites. Performs prescribed load list and shop stock list duties to assist the DSSTs. Compare packing lists, receipt documents, bills of lading, inspection reports, other documents, with purchase orders/requisitions to verify accuracy of stock data and quantities received against bills of lading, and shipping documents. Assures stock numbers/prices/sources of data are correct through use of Army Master Data File (AMDF), Supply Bulletins (SBs), supply letters, regulations, etc. Revises quantities ordered based on number of items on hand & reviews records for possible substitution of items. Unloads, unpacks, inspects, counts, segregates and stores incoming supplies. Prepare Forms 2404, 2407) to submit a work order to the maintenance department. Repair and constructs fiberboard or wooden containers. Constructs bins, shelving and other storage aids. Packs, crates, stencils, weigh and bands equipment and supplies. Loads, unloads and moves stock using equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks. Required to climb a ladder and stand for long periods of time. <p>The RMC Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the Roads Management Centre (RMC) operations during assigned shifts, ensuring the safe, efficient, and contract-compliant operation of Qatar's road network on a 24/7 basis. The role provides operational leadership to the control room team, oversees incident and tunnel management, authorizes operational response plans, and serves as the primary escalation point during emergencies, major incidents, severe weather, and planned events.
