The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in diagnosing faults and performing maintenance and repair work in accordance with quality and safety standards.</p><br><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><br><br><ul><li>Diagnose suspension and steering system faults using modern diagnostic equipment.</li><li>Perform wheel alignment services and adjust wheel alignment angles to manufacturer specifications.</li><li>Inspect, repair, and replace steering and suspension system components, including control arms, shock absorbers, air suspension components (where applicable), ball joints, tie rod ends, steering racks/gearboxes, suspension arms, bushings, and related components.</li><li>Inspect wheel bearings, hubs, and other suspension components, replacing damaged parts as required.</li><li>Check tire condition and air pressure and assess their impact on vehicle alignment and handling.</li><li>Conduct road tests before and after repairs to ensure the quality of work performed.</li><li>Operate wheel alignment machines and diagnostic equipment efficiently.</li><li>Prepare reports detailing diagnosed faults, completed repairs, and required spare parts.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area while complying with health and safety regulations.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p><br><br><ul><li>Diploma in Automotive Mechanics or an equivalent qualification. Apply the corrosion protection process to hull, decks, superstructure, chain lockers, tank coatings, cargo holds, structural steel works, pipelines & miscellaneous items. Ensure appropriate use of tools and machinery, preventing excessive wear and tear and breakdowns. Prevent wastage of materials (painting materials), consumables and report any malfunction of tools and machinery to immediate supervisor. Maintain housekeeping of work place to required standards.
