<p>We are looking for a hands-on Senior Full Stack Developer with at least 6 years of professional experience building and shipping production software end-to-end. You will own features across the entire stack from mobile and web front ends, through APIs and server-side logic, to cloud infrastructure and third-party integrations. <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Arkan Marketing Services is looking for a highly capable and delivery-focused Full Stack Developer to build and maintain e-commerce websites, mobile applications, internal systems, APIs, dashboards, and automation tools across multiple retail brands.</p><p>This is a hands-on development role for someone who can understand business requirements quickly, recommend the right technical solution, and take a project from initial concept to a stable production system.</p><p>The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple projects, work independently, solve complex technical problems, and use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve development speed and quality.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Build and maintain high-performance e-commerce websites, web applications, mobile apps, and internal business systems.</p><p>• Translate business requirements and manual processes into structured, scalable digital solutions.</p><p>• Develop responsive storefronts and web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.</p><p>• Work with Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom commerce backends.</p><p>• Develop product pages, collections, search, filters, carts, checkout flows, customer accounts, wishlists, loyalty features, and order-tracking tools.</p><p>• Build and maintain customer-facing mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native, Flutter, Expo, or similar technologies.</p><p>• Design scalable backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, Python, REST APIs, webhooks, background jobs, queues, authentication, and role-based permissions.</p><p>• Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar technologies.</p><p>• Integrate payment gateways, ERP systems, inventory platforms, delivery providers, CRM systems, WhatsApp APIs, analytics tools, and marketing platforms.</p><p>• Develop custom Shopify applications, plugins, APIs, and third-party integrations when required.</p><p>• Build internal platforms for product management, inventory, procurement, restocking, order management, customer service, approvals, reporting, and workflow automation.</p><p>• Improve website speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO, mobile usability, conversion performance, API response times, database queries, caching, and application scalability.</p><p>• Implement secure authentication, permissions, input validation, rate limiting, secrets management, API security, and secure deployment practices.</p><p>• Test, debug, maintain, and improve existing applications and codebases.</p><p>• Deploy and manage applications using Git, GitHub, Linux, Docker, CI/CD, Nginx, Vercel, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar services.</p><p>• Set up appropriate logging, monitoring, backups, error tracking, and production support.</p><p>• Use AI development tools such as Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and AI coding agents to accelerate development, debugging, testing, documentation, and code review.</p><p>• Review, test, and take full responsibility for all AI-generated code before deployment.</p><p>• Create reusable systems and components that can support multiple brands and future projects.</p><p>• Maintain clear technical documentation and organised development records.</p><p>• Manage multiple development projects and deliver reliable, production-ready solutions within agreed timelines.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.</p><p>• At least three years of professional Full Stack Development experience.</p><p>• Strong portfolio demonstrating real, production-level websites, applications, or software systems.</p><p>• Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive frontend development.</p><p>• Strong backend development experience using Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or similar technologies.</p><p>• Experience building or maintaining e-commerce platforms using Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom commerce systems.</p><p>• Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, third-party integrations, and payment systems.</p><p>• Good understanding of database architecture, data relationships, indexing, query optimisation, scalability, and data security.</p><p>• Mobile application development experience using React Native, Flutter, Expo, or similar technologies is strongly preferred.</p><p>• Experience with cloud deployment, Git, Docker, CI/CD, Linux, and production server management.</p><p>• Good understanding of application security, performance optimisation, testing, monitoring, and debugging.</p><p>• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of a professional workflow.</p><p>• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research and work with unfamiliar technologies.</p><p>• Able to understand business requirements, recommend practical solutions, and work independently from concept to production.</p><p>• Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECEN) Program of Texas A&amp;M University at Qatar invites applications for a full-time academic professional track (non-tenure) position in the area of computer engineering. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Instructional Assistant Professor or Instructional Associate Professor, depending on qualifications.<br><br>This non-tenure track position assumes a 9-month academic appointment with anticipated start date Summer or Fall 2024. The 9-month appointment includes a 3-3 teaching load during Fall-Spring semesters. The successful applicant will also be expected to teach two courses during the summer semester for an additional 3 months of salary. The applicant's primary responsibility will be teaching courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
