Job Summary We are seeking experienced Qatar Energy-approved QC Inspectors (Civil) for a project in Ras Laffan. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in civil quality inspection within the Oil & Gas industry and be well-versed in applicable quality standards, construction codes, and inspection procedures.<br>Key Responsibilities Perform civil quality inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, Qatar Energy requirements, and international standards. Inspect civil construction activities, including foundation works, concrete, reinforcement, structural steel, masonry, architectural finishes, roofing, and asphalt works. Verify contractor and supplier compliance with approved quality plans, procedures, and inspection requirements. Review engineering drawings, method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality documentation. Conduct inspections in accordance with applicable industry codes, standards, and project specifications. Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality records. Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues. Ensure implementation of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements throughout project execution.<br>Qualifications & Experience Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering. Minimum 10 years of inspection experience, including at least 2 years in the Oil & Gas industry. Qatar Energy approval as QC Inspector (Civil) is mandatory. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Ability to read, interpret, and review engineering drawings and technical specifications. Thorough understanding of applicable industry codes, standards, and project specifications. Working knowledge of International Building Code (IBC) or equivalent building codes.
