Ensures membership records are properly maintained on all members. Prepares monthly membership reports required by General Manager, Board/ Ex-Committees, and support team. Ensures that the following administrative and promotional tools are integrated into the overall sales effort: Membership Application packet, Membership Welcome Packet, Membership Handbook, Website, E Newsletter and Members Application. Strategic and Financial Responsibilities:Develops and leads a strategic membership development program designed to increase total membership count and membership dues revenue. Responsible for achieving annual budgeted sales goals and for monitoring business volume forecast while planning accordingly for manpower, productivity, costs, and other expenses. Effectively communicates with management and associates to increase knowledge of membership goals, membership satisfaction, membership retention and activities. Implement strategies to support the submission of applications to the Club, thus ensuring a strong membership ‘wait list’. Additional objectives and responsibilities can be added at any time, depending on the needs of the business and hotel. Assists in the development and implementation of advertising and promotional campaigns designed to generate membership sales. Member Relations and Community:Networks with community partners including, but not limited to: Chamber of Commerce, local tourism councils, exchange clubs, local corporate executives, business leaders, and media contacts. Linum Consult’s client is seeking an Asset Management Advisor with a background in water/wastewater/drainage assets to join their team in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing a portfolio of water, wastewater and drainage assets
• Maintaining awareness of market developments and advancements in wastewater treatment technologies, and their related impacts on the water industry with particular focus on performance, efficiency, and reliability improvements, as well as lifecycle optimisation
• Conducting detailed financial analyses for the assets, including budget management, cost control and profitability assessments
• Ensuring all operations comply with local, national, and international regulatory requirements, particularly focusing on environmental, safety, and operational regulations
• Creating business plans, developing budgeting instructions, and performing techno-commercial reviews in support of the company’s portfolio planning and budget process

• Degree qualification in Engineering obtained from a North American, West European or Australian University with accreditation from the Institute of Asset Management (IAM), and ideally have a Chartered Membership to a relevant discipline (C.Eng, P.Eng or P.E.)
• 30 years’ experience in the water, wastewater industries, from a public sector background
• Substantial experience of international Asset Management best practices
• Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with key stakeholders, senior executives, management teams, and external partners/advisors
• Previous experience of working in Qatar and/or other Gulf countries is preferred.
