Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Lead, Regulate, and ensure the safe, efficient and compliant Operation of Ras Laffan Port. Accountable for the overall strategic, operational, and regulatory performance of the Port. Ensuring alignment with State, National and International maritime standards while safeguarding business continuity, safety, asset integrity and financial performance.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum 15-20 years’ progressive experience in ports or maritime operations (preferably in the Oil and Gas industry), including minimum 5 years in a senior port management role. Proven experience leading complex port operations, infrastructure or logistic functions is preferred. Strong knowledge of International Conventions (MARPOL, SOLAS, ILO, etc.), Oil & Gas industry bodies standards and the shipping industry. Demonstrated leadership, risk management and strategic decision-making capability. Excellent stakeholder management abilities, negotiation and communication skills. <br><br>Educational Qualifications<br><br>Internationally recognised senior maritime qualification – example Master Mariner Class 1 or University degree, preferably in Marine Transportation or Marine Engineering, ideally with an MBA.
