Provide technical design and engineering services in Instrumentation Engineering for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE. Conduct Instrumentation Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to; engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning. Experience in and understanding of subsea umbilical pre-commissioning / commissioning operations Primary Duties And Responsibilities Provide technical design and engineering services in subsea umbilical and power cable Engineering (Offshore) for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with Company procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE. Conduct Umbilical and Power Cable Engineering (Offshore) activities of in-house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to; engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning. Ensure the required Company technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed, in workscopes and whilst conducting Pipeline Engineering (Offshore) activities. Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards and practices. Support Engineering Department to review, update and apply Company standards and amendments to external standards. Plan and co-ordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services to meet the project requirements. Co-ordinate engineering designs, develop and review multi-disciplinary work- scopes for projects and other engineering activities. Ensure that the work-scope is comprehensive and clear. Develop offshore subsea facilities engineering scope of works and deliverables list for FEED and detail engineering stage. Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance. Liaise with contracted organisations to resolve technical issues. Develop, update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery. Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance. To review and comment on Package Vendor documents. Review and evaluate the Contract Changes/Variation to approved guidelines and practices. Act as the focal point for technical matters and take a lead role on behalf of Company on matters associated with subsea facilities. Work seamlessly with Company’s project team, to support the execution of subsea facilities, tie ins and systems integrations. Ensure the testing program, plans and procedures for all Subsea facilities deliver technical integrity assurance of all system interfaces prior to shipment for installation.
