Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity. Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, lighting, and other essential infrastructure. Support energy-saving initiatives and maintain optimal usage of utilities. Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures. Assist in maintaining records of maintenance work, equipment logs, and service schedules. Coordinate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to guest experience. Identify and report any potential risks or required improvements in facilities. <br><br>About You:<br><br>Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field. Proven experience as a Technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques. Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a proactive work attitude. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently. A leading facilities management organization is seeking an experienced AV Technician for a temporary contract (approximately 3 months) to support operations within a prestigious hospitality environment.<br><br>The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems, satellite TV (SMATV) infrastructure, and event support to ensure uninterrupted services across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and conference facilities.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot audiovisual and SMATV systems. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of AV equipment. Monitor RF distribution networks and TV signal quality. Install and terminate coaxial, Cat5e/Cat6, fibre optic, and HDMI cabling. Set up and operate AV equipment for meetings, conferences, banquets, and special events. Configure projectors, LED displays, LCD TVs, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, digital mixers, and presentation systems.
