The position aims to attract a high-level professional leader or practitioner-academic, possessing extensive leadership experience and a distinguished record in public administration, public policy, governance, public sector management, and the development of public institutions and services, or related fields.<br><br>The Professor of Practice plays a pivotal role in bridging academic knowledge with actual practice in public sector institutions, particularly in teaching and qualifying executive students and those with professional experience. Actively participating in curriculum development, mentoring and advising students, program development, committees, and the academic and institutional life of the School and the Institute.<br><br>Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:<br><br>Applicants must possess a distinguished professional and leadership record that embodies the nature of the Professor of Practice position, and the ability to translate practical experience into high-level applied education and training, and effectively connect the program with public sector institutions.<br><br>Hold a PhD in Public Administration or a related field, or an advanced professional degree such as a DPA, or possess an exceptional record of high-level professional and leadership experience and achievement, along with academic or intellectual involvement appropriate to the nature of the Professor of Practice position. Possess advanced leadership experience in government, public administration, public sector management, policy formulation and implementation, institutional development and administrative reform, public services, governance, international organizations, or related fields. Have a clear record of professional achievement and impact, such as leading major public institutions or programs, contributing to the design and implementation of public policies, leading institutional reform and development operations, improving public services, or providing advice to decision-makers and senior leadership.
