Identify, prospect, and onboard non-investing brand partners to scale retail media network beyond existing accounts. Upsell and cross-sell existing partners into higher-value packages, new media formats, and multi-channel activations as retail media products evolve. Manage mid-year budget reviews with partners, using campaign performance data to unlock incremental spend and renew commitments.

Relationship Management & Commercial Development

Cultivate and nurture high-level commercial partnerships with key FMCG brand principals, regional distributors, and media agencies throughout Qatar, the UAE, and KSA. Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key partners — presenting performance results, market insights, and next-quarter opportunities to keep commercial momentum between JBP windows. Develop and present compelling pitch decks, commercial proposals, and campaign packages tailored to each brand's marketing objectives, seasonal calendar, and trade budget structure.

Internal Collaboration & Intelligence

Collaborate internally — while maintaining strategic neutrality — with Grocery, Snowmart, and Retail Media Ops teams to gather performance data, inventory availability, and campaign capabilities that strengthen commercial proposals. Track and manage the full commercial pipeline: from prospecting and proposal through negotiation, contract execution, campaign delivery, and post-campaign performance review. Monitor competitive retail media and trade marketing developments across the GCC e-commerce landscape to refine Snow's value proposition and pricing. The ideal candidate will manage VAT, withholding tax (WHT), corporate income tax (CIT), and GCC social security obligations across our markets, keep pace with e-invoicing mandates and Pillar 2 requirements, and ensure every entity stays current on its tax filings, portal submissions, and assessments. As Snoonu expands into new markets, you will assess and set up the tax compliance framework from day one — registrations, filing calendars, and controls — so the business scales without tax risk. This role suits a technically strong tax professional with hands-on GCC and broader international tax experience who is equally comfortable in the detail of a VAT return and in advising the business on a new market entry.

???? Administer Withholding Tax: Determine WHT applicability on cross-border and local payments, ensure correct withholding, remittance, and certificate issuance, and maintain supporting documentation. Oversee GCC Social Security Compliance: Ensure accurate registration, contribution calculation, and filing for GCC social security and pension schemes (e.g., GOSI, GPSSA, PASI) across relevant entities. Lead E-Invoicing Compliance: Implement and maintain compliance with e-invoicing mandates across GCC markets, working with Tech and Finance Systems to ensure invoicing platforms meet evolving regulatory requirements. Assess Pillar 2 Impact: Monitor Pillar 2 / Global Minimum Tax developments across the Group's jurisdictions, assess exposure, and support the design and implementation of related reporting and compliance processes. Manage Tax Portals & Filings: Maintain and operate Group tax authority portal accounts, ensuring all registrations, filings, and correspondence are completed accurately and on time. Handle Tax Assessments & Audits: Act as the primary point of contact for tax authority queries, audits, and assessments, preparing responses and supporting documentation, and managing disputes through to resolution. Support New Market Entry: Assess tax registration, filing, and compliance requirements when Snoonu enters a new market, and stand up the compliance calendar, controls, and documentation needed from launch. Own Tax Accounting & Provisioning: Prepare and review current and deferred tax provisions and disclosures for management and statutory reporting in coordination with the Financial Reporting team. Support Transfer Pricing Compliance: Maintain transfer pricing documentation (local files, master file) and ensure intercompany arrangements are consistent with Group transfer pricing policy. Manage External Tax Advisors: Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors across jurisdictions to ensure consistent, well-supported tax positions and cost-effective advisory support. Advise the Business on Tax Risk: Partner with Commercial, Product, and Legal teams to assess the tax implications of new products, contracts, and business models, and advise on structuring to manage tax risk. Drive Tax Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and standardize recurring tax compliance processes across entities, reducing manual effort and audit risk.

????♂️ The Magic You Bring

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field; a professional tax or accounting qualification (CTA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred. Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail across filings, calculations, and documentation. Stakeholder Management: Confident engaging with tax authorities, external advisors, and internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, and the business.
