Support development of Qatari teams.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering specialized in Static and Piping. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is preferable. Minimum 15 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 10 years in Oil &amp; Gas industry with an international reputable Operating company. Experience in operations and maintenance is mandatory. Skill / knowledge of International, Shell DEPs and/or QP standards related to his area of expertise and Design Software related to Mechanical Static / Piping Engineering such as Stress Analysis software, etc. Exposure with international consulting company, EPIC contractor with projects' pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and Hand-over activities is an added advantage. <p>Have PMT / PMC experience and able to manage EPIC Contractors / Vendors in discipline related activities for large-scale Projects. Have extensive experience in working with relevant umbilical design codes and standards (ISO, API, Shell DEPs). Have extensive experience in umbilical manufacturing and testing with proven ability in reviewing documents with respect to quality and safety and compliance to project design basis and standards. Able to make recommendations for approval or rejection of technical deviations/Change Requests.
