Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Windows System Administrator to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure. The role involves managing Windows servers, Active Directory, virtualization, and storage environments, while supporting users and maintaining business continuity through robust backup and disaster recovery processes.<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>Administer and maintain Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user accounts. Manage system access rights, credentials, permissions, and storage allocations. Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of hardware, operating systems, and software applications. Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and capacity, ensuring proactive issue resolution. Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures to safeguard business data. Manage and support virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and associated infrastructure. Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Power Shell) to streamline administration tasks. Ensure compliance with security standards, patch management, and system hardening best practices. Support cloud and hybrid environments (Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365) where applicable. Coordinate hardware upgrades and replacements and liaise with vendors and IT support teams. Maintain accurate documentation, procedures, and technical specifications for system administration.
