This is about changing the role of finance from transactional processing to supporting the business make better decisions.</p><br> <p><b>Skills and attributes for success</b></p><br> <ul> <li>Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, revenue and expenditure management, and performance reporting. </li> <li>Support finance transformation programs, including finance operating model design, process improvement, and governance frameworks. </li> <li>Experience in public financial management, including spending reviews, revenue diversification, cost allocation, and pricing/repricing of government services. </li> <li>Develop and enhance financial policies, procedures, controls, and accounting cycle processes (P2P, O2C, R2R). </li> <li>Conduct benchmarking assessments and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency. </li> <li>Gather and document business and functional requirements and support the implementation of finance transformation initiatives. </li> <li>Prepare and present high-quality financial analysis, reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.</li> <li>Prepare, deliver and present high-quality PowerPoint presentations to communicate financial insights and recommendations to client senior management.</li> </ul> <p><b>To qualify for the role, you must have</b></p><br> <ul> <li>Approximately 5 to 10 years of recent relevant Finance Transformation and Financial Planning work experience in a leading business consulting organization or accounting organization</li> <li>Hands on experience on major finance transformation and Financial Planning.</li> <li>Knowledge of financial planning process, transactions and tools.</li> <li>Skills in delivering high-quality PowerPoint presentations</li> <li>High level of drive, commitment to achieving solutions and ability to work under pressure</li> <li>Willingness to travel across MENA on regular basis for client services</li> <li>Preferably</li> <li>Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred</li> </ul> <p><b>Ideally, you’ll also have</b></p><br> <ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting</li><li>Accounting/ finance qualifications/ certifications (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CPA CFA etc.)</li><li>Willingness to travel extensively across the region</li></ul> <p><b>What we look for</b></p><br> <p>You’ll be a trusted business consultant to our clients with a strong Finance background. <p><b>Position Overview</b><br>The Career Advisor is a student-facing role responsible for delivering career counseling, leading skill-building workshops, and managing digital platforms. The Career Advisor provides comprehensive administrative and logistical support for career events and data collection initiatives, ensuring all programming aligns with departmental strategies, institutional goals, and evolving global market trends. <br><b>Career Counseling and Coaching - 40%</b><br>• Counsel, advise, and support students regarding career exploration, career decision-making and other career-related concerns. Utilizes both a theoretical and a practical understanding of career development to assist students in assessing their career goals and gaining skills to enhance their employability.<br>• Develops action plans with students to match interests, values and skills towards achieving professional pursuits.<br>• Provides career counseling to students and alumni through administration and interpretation of various vocational tests, career exploration tools and inventories during individual or group career coaching sessions.
