Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Provide daily process optimization support to monitor the performance of process and utility systems and equipment, ensuring production targets and product specifications are met. Offer suitable recommendations to operations in the event of deviations. Assess and validate chemical performance through systematic evaluation and identify new chemicals for improvement by coordinating with chemical suppliers. Must have a thorough understanding of open hole (both wireline and MWD/LWD), cased hole and production logging tools. Enhance reservoir characterization through the integration of various data sets, including petrophysical, geological, and dynamic data to reduce uncertainties in reservoir simulations. Strong competency in quality control of petrophysical data, ensuring reliability and accuracy in routine and complex log analysis. Experience in deploying new petrophysical technologies and methodologies to optimize field development and asset value. Strong teamwork skills. Experience working in a multicultural environment. Issues technical execution plan.</p></li><li><p>Request and Coordinates inputs from Operations / Production / Shop Engineers, Yard Superintendents, Planning, Welding Engineers, QA/QC, Construction Support Engineering, Procurement.</p></li><li><p>Checks if any new equipment Is required to execute work. Obtains cost by liaising with Procurement.</p></li><li><p>Prepares RFQ for scope that cannot be executed inhouse and issues to Procurement to obtain subcontractor quotes.</p></li><li><p>Performs RFQ Bid Evaluations and selects subcontractor with competitive pricing.</p></li><li><p>Performs quantity take-offs, determines workforce, rental equipment, and material cost.</p></li><li><p>Prepares detailed estimates in accordance with the scope of work based on standard rates, historical performance or first principle.</p></li><li><p>Compiles the overall estimates.</p></li><li><p>Conducts reviews with management to finalize estimates. </p></li><li><p>Ensure Bid estimates are fully approved and signed off by all.</p></li><li><p>Records all basis of Bid estimate in a formal document. </p></li><li><p>Records all communication, assumptions done at Bid in a manner that same can be easily referred during later date (at execution).</p></li><li><p>Maintains historical records of estimates.</p></li><li><p>Compiles actual performance of repeated works performed in yard and works out benchmarks to be considered for bidding purpose.</p></li><li><p>Compares actuals to estimates and understands reasons for variance. Recommends benchmarks revision where necessary.</p></li><li><p>Takes lead on new initiatives, developments, and suggestions from management to improve.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Structural Engineering or equivalent</p></li></ul><br><p><strong>Experience: </strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ Years in offshore construction involving structures like jackets, topsides, bridges. Understand components, construction methods and processes.</p></li></ul><br><p><strong>Skills: </strong></p><ul><li><p>Ability to read Engineering Drawings.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and spoken communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Well versed in working with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, and computer applications.</p></li><li><p>Ability to meet challenging deadlines and manage changes (internally or externally imposed). </p></li></ul>
