Job Summary<br><br>The Senior QA/QC Engineer is responsible for leading and overseeing Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across the fertilizer complex to ensure that plant assets, materials, equipment, and construction activities comply with applicable international standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout their lifecycle. The role provides technical assurance for procurement, fabrication, welding, construction, inspection, testing, and material quality, while promoting a proactive "Quality at Source" culture to enhance asset reliability, mechanical integrity, and process safety.<br><br>The position also maintains compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 requirements by implementing and continually improving the Inspection Body Management System, supporting accreditation, and ensuring effective quality management practices across the Asset Integrity function.<br><br>Key Accountabilities<br><br>Lead and manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities across all QAFCO plants and facilities to ensure compliance with company specifications, international standards, and statutory requirements. Ensure quality assurance throughout the asset lifecycle by participating in vendor qualification, reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, manufacturing procedures, and witnessing shop and site inspections. Manage the qualification of vendors in co-operation with different stake holders like Material management , Mechanical, Electrical , Instrumentation sections etc. Oversee QA/QC activities for fabrication, construction, installation, repairs, and maintenance of static equipment and piping, ensuring compliance with approved procedures, codes, standards, and contractual requirements. Manage welding quality assurance by verifying Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), welder qualifications, and non-destructive examination (NDE) requirements for fabrication and repair activities. Review and approve welding book submitted by contractors. Coordinate and perform inspections with third-party inspection agencies, contractors, and vendors, including factory acceptance tests (FAT), site inspections according to ITP steps and lifting equipment certification. Ensure effective quality control of incoming materials, equipment, and spare parts by reviewing material certificates, verifying compliance with specifications, maintaining material traceability, and reporting non-conformities. Expertise needed to take decisions, if any deviations from the specification and Mock test requirement, etc. Monitor the repair and integrity of pressure equipment, piping, and static equipment in accordance with applicable codes and standards, including ASME PCC-2, to restore and maintain mechanical integrity. Manage inspection, testing, certification, and performance evaluation of pressure relief devices, and develop optimized inspection scopes using Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodologies. Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including Radiation Protection licensing and other applicable Ministry requirements. Maintain, calibrate, and control inspection instruments, tools, and equipment to ensure their accuracy, availability, and compliance with quality requirements. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve QA/QC procedures, inspection documentation, records, and electronic management systems to support effective asset integrity management. Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the ISO/IEC 17020 Inspection Body Management System, support accreditation activities, conduct internal audits, and ensure effective implementation of all applicable ISO/IEC 17020 requirements. Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Asset Integrity teams to promote a "Quality at Source" culture, enhance process safety and mechanical integrity, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical expertise in materials engineering, selection, corrosion, welding, inspection techniques, and damage mechanisms, while supporting engineering studies, troubleshooting, and quality improvement initiatives. Shall be able to review metallography and preparation of replica. Participate in Root Cause Analysis for the failures. Train, mentor, and develop inspection personnel and trainees through on-the-job coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance to strengthen organizational competency. <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span>Mindrift is looking for highly skilled Senior Python Data Scraping Engineers to join the Tendem project and drive specialized data scraping workflows within our hybrid AI + human system.<br> In this role, as an AI Pilot – that’s how we refer to this role at Mindrift – you’ll collaborate with Tendem Agents that handle repetitive tasks, while you provide critical thinking, domain expertise, and quality control to deliver accurate and actionable results.<br> This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for technical professionals with hands-on experience in web scraping, data extraction and processing.<br> What We Do The Mindrift platform connects specialists with AI projects from major tech innovators.<br> Our mission is to unlock the potential of Generative AI by tapping into real-world expertise from across the globe.<br> This is a freelance role for a Tendem project.<br> As a Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer , you'll handle data scraping tasks requiring technical precision for web extraction and processing, utilizing various tools such as our provided Apify and OpenRouter alongside your own resourceful approaches.<br> Key Responsibilities: Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring complete coverage, accuracy, and reliable delivery of structured datasets.<br> Leverage internal tools (Apify, OpenRouter) alongside custom workflows to accelerate data collection, validation, and task execution while meeting defined requirements.<br> Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic and interactive web sources, adapting approaches as needed to handle JavaScript-rendered content and changing site behavior.<br> Enforce data quality standards through validation checks, cross-source consistency controls, adherence to formatting specifications, and systematic verification prior to delivery.<br> Scale scraping operations for large datasets using efficient batching or parallelization, monitor failures, and maintain stability against minor site structure changes.<br> Requirements: At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development (required).<br> Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus.<br> Candidates should have a strong technical foundation and practical experience with scripting, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.<br> We are looking for specialists who can solve non-trivial problems, work confidently with LLMs, and systematically collect, structure, and validate data from diverse sources.<br> A methodical, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently are essential.<br> Strong experience in Python web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Selenium or similar), including dynamic content (JS, AJAX, infinite scroll) and APIs via proxies Proven ability to extract data from complex structures (hierarchies, archived pages, inconsistent HTML) Solid background in data cleaning, normalization, and validation, delivering structured datasets (CSV, JSON, Google Sheets) Demonstrated experience handling anti-bot mechanisms and dynamic site structures at scale Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and containerization (Docker) as part of real workflows Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, OpenRouter, or similar) applied to automation tasks Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Self-directed work ethic with ability to troubleshoot independently A link to GitHub is a plus English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above (required) Project time expectations For this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements.<br> This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active.<br> Compensation On this project, contributors can earn up to $37 per hour equivalent , depending on their level and pace of contribution.<br> Compensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required expertise.<br> Please note that other projects on the platform may offer different earning levels based on their requirements.<br></span> </div>

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for proper functioning of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment in the yard and all structures, services in the main people buildings. The Maintenance Engineer leverages deep understanding of maintenance strategies in-order to contribute to day-to-day operational maintenance expertise and leadership and supports the Head of Maintenance in monitoring and implementing the strategies for managing the shipyards assets throughout their lifecycle. All works is executed to a high quality & auditable standard that is consistent with the companies integrated management systems and policies. As an officer, a high level of trade skill and experience is demanded and is expected to be demonstrably applied to technical problems and monitoring of trades employees.<br>Key Accountabilities:1) Develop a deep understanding of the yard specific maintenance strategy and supports the Head of Maintenance in breaking down the strategy into short to medium time horizon work plans and tactics. Supports the implementation of all aspect of the Maintenance Strategy.2) Operate and maintain HVAC equipment, including but not limited to dehumidifiers, chillers, AHUs, pumps, fan coil units, Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) units, Air Cooled Condensing Unit (ACCU) units, window air-conditioning units, split air-conditioning units and ventilation systems and all its components.3) Operate and maintain Low Voltage (LV) Power & Lighting system, Elevator, sliding door, Dock leveler, Building Maintenance Unit (BMU), Electrical Low Voltage (ELV) systems consisting of Access Control System, Barrier gate, Intercom and all its components.4) Operate and maintain other building systems and Plumbing equipment’s consist of potable water booster pumps, circulation pumps, water heaters and all its components.5) Prepare and manage all spare parts required for the maintenance of the Equipment and related assets.6) Support the Head of Maintenance in the preparation of maintenance strategies to reduce failure rates of equipment and improve maintenance KPIs.7) Prepare RCA reports and provide Head of Maintenance with proposals for preventing repeat failures and ensuring lessons learned.8) Prepare Scope Of Work (SOW), Scope Of Service (SOS) and Tender documentation for sub-contractors works.9) Supervise sub-contractors and ensure compliance with scope of work.10) Lead and supervise maintenance technicians.11) Prepare fit for purpose Work Permits and Risk Assessment for the identification, control and/or mitigation of workplace risk.12) Maintain maintenance records.13) Coordinate with relevant authorities and obtain approvals for any changes to systems and structures.14) Communicate upwards – training needs, process improvement suggestions and follow up on implementation. Qualifications:• Engineering Degree in Mechanical or HVAC. Experience:• 5 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, HVAC Maintenance Engineer or equivalent. Job Specific Competencies:Technical Competencies• O&M Skill of HVAC, LV, Plumbing, and ELV Systems.• Read and comprehend HVAC drawings and schematics, including control diagrams.• Understand HVAC systems and components.• Capable of reviewing HVAC calculations and other technical data from contractors.• Capable of examining existing HVAC system to determine condition of systems and identify areas for improvement.• Knowledge of all Building structures and services.• Perform shipyard maintenance operations.• Carry out facility management.• Perform Mechanical and Electrical design and modification job.
