<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> About the job New Job Posting - T-1216 - Head of Marine <p>Qualifications*</p><br><p>Bachelor's degree in sciences, marine disciplines, or engineering or<br>Marine First Class Certificate of Competency</p><br> <p>Knowledge and/or Experience*</p><br><ul><li><p>10 years seagoing experience as a shipboard engineer or sea officer,<br>including 2 years as Chief Engineer or Master</p><br></li><li><p>Experienced in handling/managing offshore marine units operating in<br>the oil and gas industry.</p><br></li><li><p>Broad and extensive knowledge of critical marine operations including<br>offshore installation and construction vessels and barges, heavy lifts,<br>transportation, pipe and cable lay, jack-up accommodation barges,<br>dive support vessels.</p><br></li><li><p>Knowledge of Dynamic Positioning Systems &amp; Operations, DP FMEA<br>Analysis, DP FMEA Proving Trials, Annual DP Trials, ASOG/CAM.</p><br></li><li><p>Experienced in managing marine safety and quality assurance &amp;<br>compliance processes, following corporate requirements and<br>international standards.</p><br></li><li><p>High knowledgeable in International Maritime Regulations, Codes and<br>Standards.</p><br></li><li><p>Experience within the Middle East region is advantageous.</p><br></li><li><p>Previous Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) and Marine Consultancy<br>experience is advantageous.</p><br></li><li><p>International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) accreditation &amp;<br>certification is preferred.</p><br></li><li><p>Local and international maritime regulations (e.g., IMO, SOLAS,<br>MARPOL, ISM Code).</p><br></li></ul> <br> <br> </div>
