<p><b>Role Summary </b>The Water Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring plant processes through DCS/SCADA systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operation. The role includes process control, performance monitoring, coordination with field operations and maintenance teams, and compliance with operational, water quality, and HSE requirements. Key Responsibilities Plant Operation & Process Control Operate and monitor SWRO plant processes through DCS/SCADA systems. Control plant parameters such as: Intake and pretreatment systems DAF and ultrafiltration units High-pressure pumps RO trains Chemical dosing systems Product water and distribution systems Respond to alarms and process deviations. Take corrective actions to maintain stable operation. Monitoring & Reporting Record operational data and prepare shift reports. Monitor water quality parameters. Analyze plant performance trends. Maintain accurate operational logs. Coordination Coordinate with field operators during plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency situations. Supervise field activities from the control room. Communicate operational changes to maintenance and operations teams. Maintenance Support Assist maintenance teams during troubleshooting and equipment isolation. Participate in calibration of instruments and process equipment. Support preventive maintenance activities. Safety & Compliance Follow HSE procedures and permit-to-work requirements. Ensure compliance with environmental and water quality regulations.
