Deploy and manage infrastructure within cloud environments, ensuring the highest levels of system integrity, security, scalability, and long-term reliability. Contribute to core platform features designed to be reused across diverse international client use cases. Partner with design, product, and data teams to build robust applications aligned with the broader technical architecture.<br><br>Ideally you’d have:<br><br>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field 5+ years of post-graduation, full-stack engineering experience with demonstrated proficiency in React (required), Type Script, Next.js, Python, Node.js, Postgre SQL or Mongo DB plus hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure/AWS/GCP. Proven ability to architect scalable, production-grade applications with a strong handle on cloud environments and infrastructure health. Experience working directly within customer infrastructure to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot complex, end-to-end solutions. Position Overview<br>We are seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer – Structures to lead and oversee structural construction activities for the Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership, managing site supervision activities, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring that all structural works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.<br>Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. BSc, BEng, BA, or equivalent qualification preferred.<br>Experience Minimum 15 years of total professional experience. Minimum 7 years of relevant/similar experience in structural engineering and construction supervision. Proven experience in a Resident Engineer role on major building, infrastructure, or structural projects. Experience managing structural construction works for large-scale projects is preferred. Qatar/GCC project experience will be an advantage.<br>Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the supervision of all structural construction activities on the project. Ensure that structural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards. Provide technical direction and guidance to the supervision team. Review and approve, where authorized, structural drawings, shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and technical documents. Supervise structural works including foundations, reinforced concrete works, columns, beams, slabs, retaining structures, structural steel, and other structural elements. Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, quality, and progress. Ensure that construction activities comply with approved project specifications and quality requirements. Review inspection requests and ensure that required inspections and testing are completed before approval. Monitor reinforcement, formwork, concrete pouring, curing, structural steel erection, and other critical structural activities. Coordinate with the contractor, consultant teams, client representatives, and other project stakeholders. Coordinate structural works with architectural, civil, MEP, road, and other disciplines to resolve design and construction interfaces. Identify technical issues, construction discrepancies, and potential delays and provide appropriate recommendations. Monitor project progress against the approved construction programme and report any delays or risks. Participate in technical and progress meetings with the client, contractor, consultant, and project team. Ensure proper maintenance of site records, inspection reports, progress reports, technical correspondence, and project documentation. Ensure all structural works comply with applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements. Support the project team in resolving technical, contractual, and construction-related issues. Monitor completion, snagging, testing, commissioning interfaces, and handover of structural works. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager/Resident Engineer management team regarding progress, quality, technical matters, and risks.<br>Required Skills Strong knowledge of structural engineering, construction, and site supervision. Extensive experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel construction. Strong understanding of structural drawings, specifications, codes, and construction methodologies. Functional Responsibilities:Data Ingestion and Normalization Pipeline Management: Architect and maintain the ingestion of telemetry from multi-cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) and on-premises environments using Bind Plane Forwarders, Cloud-to-Cloud (C2C) connectors, and Webhooks. Parser Development: Design, build, and troubleshoot custom parsers (CBN) to ensure non-standard log sources are correctly normalized into the Unified Data Model (UDM). Data Health Monitoring: Build dashboards to monitor ingestion rates, latency, and data drops to ensure the SIEM is always receiving high-quality, actionable data. SOAR & Automation Engineering Playbook Development: Design and code automated incident response playbooks in Google SOAR using Python and visual builders. Connector Engineering: Build and maintain API integrations between Google SOAR and third-party tools (Firewalls, EDR, IAM, Ticketing systems). Workflow Optimization: Automate repetitive manual tasks such as artifact enrichment, evidence gathering, and initial containment actions. Case Management Configuration: Tailoring the SOAR environment to fit the SOC’s operational needs, including custom fields, stages, and SLA tracking. Platform Administration and Optimization System Health Monitoring: Monitoring the ingestion health to ensure no data is dropped and that latency stays within acceptable limits. Access Control: Managing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure analysts have the correct level of access to sensitive data. Threat Intel Ingestion: Managing the integration of Mandiant, Virus Total, and other third-party threat intelligence feeds to ensure detections are always up to date with the latest global threats. Collaboration with SOC Team Feedback Loops: Collaborating with Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts to tune YARA-L rules based on real-world alert performance and "noise" levels. Requirements Gathering: Interviewing incident responders to understand their manual workflows, then translating those into Google SOAR playbooks. Training & Enablement: Conducting knowledge transfer sessions on how to use UDM Search and the Google Sec Ops interface to speed up investigations. Alignment with Infrastructure Team Data Ingestion Strategy: Working with GCP/AWS/Azure Architects to ensure that Cloud Logging and Pub/Sub are configured correctly for seamless export to Google Sec Ops platform. Agent Deployment: Coordinating with IT Infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain Bind Plane Forwarders on on-premises servers and virtual machines. Troubleshooting: Collaborating with Network Engineers to resolve connectivity issues or firewall blocks that prevent telemetry from reaching the Google Sec Ops platform. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Academic & Professional Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent. SIEM Certification ( Google Sec Ops, Splunk, Azure Sentinel). Preferred:Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, GCIH Google Sec Ops Engineer Experience:3–5 years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering, SOC Automation, Dev Ops Engineer, Security Operations, or Infrastructure Security. Skills and Requirements:Technical Skills (Must Have) SIEM/SOAR Mastery: Proven experience architecting and managing enterprise-grade platforms (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel, or QRadar), with at least 1–2 years specifically focused on Google Sec Ops (Chronicle). Key Requirement: Required skills: Google Sec Ops. Coding & Scripting: Professional experience using Python to automate security workflows or build custom API connectors. Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience managing security within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including VPC service controls, IAM, and Cloud Logging. Parser Development: Design, build, and troubleshoot custom parsers (CBN) to ensure non-standard log sources are correctly normalized into the Unified Data Model (UDM). Data Health Monitoring: Build dashboards to monitor ingestion rates, latency, and data drops to ensure the SIEM is always receiving high-quality, actionable data.<br>SOAR & Automation Engineering Playbook Development: Design and code automated incident response playbooks in Sentinel SOAR using Python and visual builders. Workflow Optimization: Automate repetitive manual tasks such as artifact enrichment, evidence gathering, and initial containment actions.
