Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Assist delivery of the strategic vision for Qatar Energy Trading’s transformation, aligning it with long-term goals and architecture. Working with key stakeholders to elaborate requirements, design and implement efficient application solutions. Manage products backlogs and work with technical teams on implementation. Work collaboratively and bring parties together from within IT and the commercial functions. Work directly with the business teams, have a customer first approach being able to communicate effectively with different levels and disciplines within the organization. Assist with understanding impact of business change and work with business teams to onboard and implement such change. Provide expert support and required technical services to QET on related applications, in coordination with the other ICT entities.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum of 9 years of work experience in Commodities trading with leading IOCs, trading houses, NOCs, or vendors in change, process, and technology. Strong C/ETRM experience in designing and implementing solutions to enhance trading strategies, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency. Strong understanding of commodity markets (LNG is preferred), trading strategies, related organization, processes, risk management principles and related technologies solutions (C/ETRM, Fleet Management, Trading Platform, Market Analytics, etc). End-to-end, multi-disciplinary knowledge is required in areas such as Commodities trading, Shipping and Finance with advanced knowledge of the front-to-back office trade lifecycle. Specialized experience in at least one area, such as Physical LNG Trading, Cargo Operations, Shipping, Derivative & Emission Trading, Trading Risk and Finance, or Portfolio Optimization. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Ability to work with the unknown, own problems and make decisions. Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements. Proven ability to manage backlog and relevant documentations with development team. Enthusiastic and passionate about technology as an enabler in commodities trading. Familiar with IT standards & best practices, architecture, integration, methods. Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, and ability to communicate concepts as appropriate to management, stakeholders and vendors. High proficiency with workplace applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), project management and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Project, Azure Dev Ops / Confluence Jira, Miro/Mural etc). Comfortable in working with SQL queries and Excel. Experience with C/ETRM tools such as Openlink, Triple Point, Allegro are preferred. Product knowledge of Planlogic EOS, Veson Nautical IMOS and SAP is an advantage. Practical experience with agile frameworks, PMP or Prince2 is an advantage. Support production activities by preparing BOMs, purchase requisitions, route sheets, time sheets , ITPs, and related documents. Update production schedules, track job progress, and coordinate with workshop teams to meet customer and engineering requirements. Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) processes.<br><br>Job Responsibilities<br><br>Ensure compliance with company quotation, customer purchase orders, and applicable standards Prepare BOMs, purchase requisitions, route sheets, ITPs, and Production receipt, invoices for jobs. Maintain production monitoring reports, planning sheets, and update job progress as per production schedule. Coordinate with Operation Manager, workshop teams, QC, procurement, and Field service team to ensure smooth Production execution. Support manpower planning and monitor job progress, utilization, time sheets and completion status. Review scope of work, shutdown requirements, and pricing alignment with company commercial offers Prepare MOMs after client meetings and provide regular updates to management on production and invoicing status. Well-developed analytical and reporting skills.<br><br>Primary Duties And Responsibilities<br><br>Develop and maintain Project Master Plans and Schedules for all Project Phases and Stage Gates throughout the Project Lifecycle from Initiation to Close-out. Provide planning input to other Gate deliverables including Project Execution Plan (PEP), Risk Management Plan & Risk Register, and Change Management Plan. Plan and Monitor project close-outactivities, provide input for the finalization of Close-out Report of the project. Perform Project Planning including Scheduling, Monitoring, Forecasting, and Progress Reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis through various Management reports. Maintain Project Builder data in SAP to facilitate group reporting and analysis. Provide early warnings and highlight early intervention opportunities through reports and engagement with project teams in order to influence projects outcomes. Maintain and update the Integrated Resource Planning system to plan the requirement of resources for assigned Projects as per the Master Plans in Primavera. Provide specific inputs to other Appendices capturing Scope of Work, Payment Terms, LD Milestones, Document Review periods Evaluate Technical Proposals of Bidders as a key member of the Technical Evaluation Team to ensure compliance with the tender requirements in particular performing schedule analysis, reviewing and validating man-hour allocations and resourcehistograms, progress measurement methodology, and compliance to planning and reporting instructions and procedures, with no deviations or exceptions Review, Validate and Endorse Contractor submitted Planning Package including Execution Programme/Recovery Plans, Resource Plan, and progress measurement and reporting system to ensure that a proper system is in place for effective project control and in compliance with contractual requirements. Monitor Contractor's performance, conduct time and progress variance analysis and Review/ Validate Contractor's progress reports to ensure performance deviation from the agreed plan is determined and reported on timely basis. Conduct "what if' and schedule risk analysis when required, to anticipate unforeseen changes to the project and quantify potential impact & mitigation plans. Estimate progress achieved for all assigned Contracts to calculate Value of Work Done at every month end for the purpose of Service Entry Sheets (SES). Verify reported progress for all assigned contracts in coordination with all stakeholders. Provide all relevant schedule input and estimated progress phasing for annual Budget/AFE preparation,subsequent revisions, and supplementary Budgets. Analyse reasons for progress and schedule variance for providing input to Budget variance report. Determine Time Impact related to scope changes addressed in Change Impact Notes and Work Change Requests (WCR). Review and assess Contractor Extension of Time (EoT) claims using international norms and time impact analysis processes. Participate in the development and implementation of various Project Planning Procedures and Work Instructions.
