Job Summary<br><br>The role holder is responsible for the preventive maintenance, repair, overhaul and troubleshooting of rotating equipment (steam turbine, gas turbine, centrifugal / reciprocating compressors and pumps) and its auxiliaries. Familiarised completely with the allocated area of work, the equipment / machinery involved and general idea of the process for which he is responsible for the maintenance activities.<br><br>The role holder will carry out day to day basic maintenance jobs independently under normal supervision. Housekeeping is an important issue, as is the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment. The role holder must ensure that all the activities are carried out in compliance with QAFCO occupational health, Quality, Safety, Energy and Environment procedures.<br><br>Key Accountabilities<br><br>Carry out the assigned day-to-day routine and non-routine maintenance activities independently under normal supervision to ensure work is completed on time and to quality standards.
