Located on Al Udeid Airbase in Doha, the Qatar Technical Institute provides internationally recognized training programs to the all three services that make up the Qatar Armed Forces. The QTI training pipeline consists of Foundation Training, General Engineering and Specialty Type Training. Continuous Improvement) activities in support of successful delivery of Training and Instructional output for the Qatar Armed Forces (QAF). Supporting Contract Closure activities for QTI/Facilities CSRs. Managing and coordinating the application of an effective ‘Good Ideas’ and ‘Continuous Improvement’ process that will make a material difference to operational and financial performance of the QTI. Provide support to the PM Lead in managing, monitoring and controlling the Technical Institute and/or Facilities CSR, ensuring timely and high quality inputs are provided through Management to the Head of the Technical Institute and Qatar Programme. <p>The MRAP/JLTV Vehicle C4I System Supervisor is responsible for managing and controlling the operations of the MRAP C4I systems installed in the MRAP vehicles. This includes managing access and security to equipment, accounting for all computer hardware, radios, installed electronics and any other removable electronic equipment, and providing technical expertise on hardware, software and user issues. Stays up to date on maintenance of all electronics upgrades as directed by the USAF. <b>Job Description</b>Overview<p>Reporting to the Senior Manager, the role is responsible for managing and maintaining all important documents hardcopy and/or electronic format.</p><br><p>Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Manager in his reporting obligations and other functions.</p><br><p>Maintain a reliable data entry system accommodated by tasks such as filing hardcopies, scanning, electronic management, filing and processing, archiving and document tracking, inputs the document data into the standard registers whilst ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.</p><br>Your role<ul><li><span>Assist the Senior Manager in discharging his duties.</span></li><li><span>Recording and archiving all hardcopy and softcopy documents, transactions, process, classification, registration, archiving and distribution.</span></li><li><span>Prepare & distribute correspondences, reports, memorandums, reports, schedules and materials for publication, presentation etc.</span></li><li><span>Answer correspondence as directed.</span></li><li><span>Maintain confidential information of office related information.</span></li><li><span>Control drawings, specification, design records, standards, procedures, correspondence, minutes of meetings and supplier documents, etc.</span></li><li><span>Maintaining an appropriate electronic database as backup to a traditional hardcopy archive system for easy storage and access to all internal and external correspondence and data.</span></li><li><span>Proficient in Electronic Documentation Management Software systems.</span></li><li><span>Providing contract and other information to pre and post contract sections which may include general formalities such as holiday forms etc.</span></li><li><span>Providing data entry and word processing services as and when required.</span></li><li><span>Assisting managers in producing various reports, tables and presentation material.</span></li><li><span>Scans letters and documents etc..., and files electronically in the Computer Reference Number sequence.</span></li><li><span>Copies/scans and distributes the required documents, assisting as required.</span></li><li><span>Maintains the documents and drawings in the Document Control section under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.</span></li><li><span>Maintains the files and control logs as required by the section.</span></li><li><span>Carry out all and any other tasks, services, instructions, functions related to his profession and as directed by the Authority or his representative.</span></li><li><span>The Staff shall travel to sites and/or any location as may be necessary in the carrying out of their duties and services or as may be directed by the Authority.</span></li></ul>About you<p><b>Mandatory requirements</b></p><br><ul><li>University degree from a recognised university in an appropriate field such as Engineering or Business or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years postgraduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes, preference will be given to roads, aviation, structures or rail related experience, and 5 years in Qatar and / or the Gulf region.</li><li>Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.</li></ul><p><b>Desirable requirements</b></p><br><ul><li>Evidence of suitable professional qualification or equivalent is preferable.</li></ul><p><b>Skills and Competencies</b></p><br><ul><li>Experienced user of internet based document control systems, e.g. SharePoint, Documentum.</li><li>Experienced user of MS Office.</li><li>Capable of working with minimal supervision.</li><li>Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projects.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of document procedures.</li><li>A “rounded profile”, comfortable with document control processes.
