Job Summary <br> <p>The incumbent will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Financial Institutions and strengthening correspondent banking relationships by fostering new correspondent banking alliances; the incumbent will ensure the extension of the Group’s reach to the different geographical areas of the world.</p><br> <br> <br><br> Main Responsibilities <br> <p>A. Customer (Internal & External): </p><br><ul><li><p>Ensure provision of superior customer service through building lasting relationships with financial correspondents. </p><br></li><li><p>Build and maintain strong and effective relationships between QNB Group and counterparties; hands on coordination between various QNB International branches and subsidiaries on global FI relationship; </p><br></li><li><p>Partner and coordinate with other divisions in the Bank and international branches and subsidiaries when recommending relationships with counterparty banks and influencing them in enhancing their scope of business with QNB; </p><br></li><li><p>Assist the SVP, FI & CB Relations to develop and manage relationships with correspondent banks. Periodic travels to visit counterparty banks internationally to market QNB as the Bank of Choice in Qatar and the Region and support international branches within their geographical areas; </p><br></li><li><p>Monitors the periodical P&L for the dept., for Nostro/Vostro, treasury related and other income and expenses directly linked with counterparties FIs from QNB Doha as well as the international branches; </p><br></li><li><p>Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/ units to achieve improvements in turn-around time. </p><br></li><li><p>Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and </p><br></li><li><p>Risk Functions as and when required. </p><br></li></ul><p>C. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): </p><br><ul><li><p>Support SVP, FI and CB Relations on business development, credit recommendation (increasing/ decreasing lines of credit etc.), and relationship management for selected local, regional, and international banks and other specialized financial institutions. </p><br></li><li><p>Ensure the existence of adequate and approved policies/ procedures to guide staff in their day-to-day activities and to ensure compliance with the same. </p><br></li><li><p>Manage the Financial Institutions’ credit portfolio on overall basis to ensure targets are met, corrective measures implemented on timely basis and to gauge the quality and performance of the portfolio. </p><br></li><li><p>Approve credit proposals that are within the incumbent’s delegated powers and submit those which exceed his approval authority to the higher approving authority. </p><br></li><li><p>Identify and timely report on all negative events and early signals on potential problematic accounts/relationships. </p><br></li><li><p>Continuously scan/ monitor reports from external rating agencies to identify significant up gradation/ downgrading of financial institutions and determine the impact of the same upon existing FI relationships. </p><br></li><li><p>Ensure annual reviews of Financial Institutions are conducted on timely basis. </p><br></li><li><p>Supervise the compilation of the report on annual reviews of Financial Institutions to be presented to executive management and the Board for deciding on facility renewals.</p><br></li><li><p>Implement the approved Relationship Management strategy within the unit to achieve the business objectives. </p><br></li><li><p>Provide technical expertise and guidance to Relationship Officers to ensure their credit proposals address all relevant risk factors and meet minimum acceptable standards. - Assist the SVP, FI & CB Relations in managing some of the Bank’s international projects such as the Annual IMF </p><br></li><li><p>Meetings and SIBOS Expos - Undertake specific financial institutions projects as assigned from time to time. </p><br></li></ul><p>D. Job Summary <br> <p>The incumbent will be responsible for proactively managing QNB Group’s selected Corporate Banking portfolio, Branches and affiliates (the “Selected Portfolio”) in order to achieve the function’s set targets for revenue, profit, profitability and volumes, in compliance with established QNB Group credit policies, procedures, standards, regulatory requirements and best international market practice.</p><br><p>The individual will also be involved in the formulation of corporate branch strategies and the implementation of the GCIB initiatives (including GWB and GAM) across his portfolio. As well as, identify potential new business opportunities for other business area functions or branches within the QNB Group, aligned to the approved Global Account Management concept and co-ordinate with them to facilitate Group synergies and cross selling of products and services. Reporting to the Head of Global Assurance, this is a hands-on individual contributor role with significant autonomy. You will independently design and own EMEA-specific controls within Scale's global assurance framework, while staying tightly aligned with the global controls library and reporting cadences. You will be part of the global GRC team and work across Global Public Sector, Enterprise, Security, Engineering, Product, and Legal to deliver region-specific authorizations, certifications, and customer assurance outcomes across EMEA, with a focus on the GCC, UK, and EU markets.<br><br>You Will<br><br>Lead region-specific assurance programs across the GCC and UK, including Qatar NCSA National Information Assurance (NIA), KSA NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC), UAE DESC Information Security Regulation (ISR), and UK Cyber Essentials Plus, Defence Cyber Certification (DCC), and NCSC Secure by Design (SdB). Set priorities and operating cadences for EMEA assurance workflows, including intake, evidence collection, control owner follow-up, remediation tracking, and deadline management, reporting progress through Scale's global assurance dashboards. Support EMEA public sector customer assurance activities, including security questionnaires, compliance due diligence responses, customer-facing assurance discussions, and compliance input to bid and capture processes where assurance readiness is a procurement gate. Partner with Legal on EMEA contract-driven assurance obligations, data protection and AI governance compliance intersections (e.g., GDPR, Qatar PDPPL, EU AI Act), and sensitive escalations involving sovereign regulators. Manage relationships with EMEA-based external auditors, assessors, certification bodies, and regulatory counterparts. Support internal and external audits across EMEA and report into the Head of Global Assurance on program health, key risks, certification timelines, and regional regulatory developments.<br><br>Ideally, You’d Have<br><br>7+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, GRC, public sector assurance, IT audit, cloud security, or related roles, with meaningful exposure to EMEA markets. Experience executing government or public sector assurance programs in the UK, EU, or GCC, including working with external certification bodies, government assessors, or authorizing officials. Deep familiarity with one or more of: UK Cyber Essentials/Cyber Essentials+, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 42001, SOC 2, or equivalent frameworks, and with sovereign security regimes in the GCC (e.g., Qatar NCSA NIA, KSA SCCC/NCA, UAE DESC/NESA). Familiarity with relevant EMEA data protection and AI governance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PDPPL, EU AI Act) and how they translate into technical and organisational controls. Experience managing controls mapping, evidence collection, remediation tracking, and audit coordination across distributed engineering and infrastructure teams. Experience with cloud environments (one or more of: AWS, Azure, GCP) and the ability to assess cloud architecture against compliance requirements.
