<p>The Bellboy is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests and delivering courteous, efficient, and professional luggage and guest assistance services. The Assistant Venue Technology Manager (AVTM) supports the Venue Technology Manager (VTM) in managing all Venue Technology operations across the assigned venue cluster.<br>The role is responsible for assisting with the planning, operation, maintenance, and delivery of ICT, AV, and ELV services to ensure seamless venue operations and successful event execution.<br>The AVTM will coordinate with internal teams, contractors, service providers, and event stakeholders to ensure all technology systems are operational, maintained, and event-ready.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Venue Technology Operations & Technical Support<br>Support the Venue Technology Manager in managing the full lifecycle of venue technology services and solutions. Monitor daily operations of ICT, AV, and ELV systems across assigned venues. Follow up with Venue ICT teams regarding pending incidents, maintenance activities, and service requests. Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve technology-related issues within agreed SLAs. Supervise technical rooms, data centers, communication rooms, and all physical locations housing technology infrastructure. Monitor ICT service performance and ensure timely resolution of incidents through Service Desk and support teams. Maintain accurate records of ICT assets and inventory. Track and manage technology equipment stored within venue facilities. Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for ICT, AV, and ELV systems.<br>Event Technology Delivery & Support<br>Conduct site inspections and technical surveys to assess venue technology readiness. Supervise installation and commissioning of ICT, AV, and ELV systems. Collaborate with event organizers to understand technical requirements and operational needs. Act as a technical liaison between venue operations teams, vendors, and event stakeholders. Coordinate venue technology readiness activities before events. Provide onsite technical support during events and troubleshoot issues in real-time. Support event setup (bump-in) activities including system configuration and testing. Supervise the installation, configuration, and operation of temporary event technology overlay systems, including network infrastructure, IPTV, digital signage, public address (PA), audio-visual (AV), broadcasting, CCTV, and access control systems. Ensure all event technology systems are fully operational before event commencement. Perform post-event inspections and support event dismantling (bump-out) activities. Prepare event readiness and post-event technical reports.<br>Stakeholder & Vendor Management<br>Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, contractors, and service providers. Ensure service providers comply with venue technology standards and operational requirements. Support project implementation activities and technology upgrades. Assist in vendor performance monitoring and issue escalation management.<br>Qualifications<br>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. Minimum 12 years of experience in ICT, AV, and ELV systems implementation, operations, and maintenance. Experience supporting large venues, stadiums, convention centers, airports, hospitality facilities, or major events. Strong hands-on experience in ICT infrastructure, network infrastructure, structured cabling, AV systems, IPTV, broadcasting systems, public address (PA) systems, video conferencing solutions, CCTV, access control systems, and turnstile technologies. Experience coordinating technology support for large-scale events. Check the Qatar Police incoming e-mails periodically and update rest of the team for any necessary information. Conduct regular patrol of the property to ensure all areas are safe and secure. Conduct Security Department meetings. Attend and participate in other required hotel Review and approve departmental schedules/payroll and make necessaryadjustments. Direct coordination of training in fire life safety, CPR, as well as other Corporateapproved programs, such as Limo Driver Training and Workplace Violence training. Lead and direct investigations of accidents, thefts, property loss and unlawfulactivities. Document details and advise Management Screen, interview, select, manage, review and counsel Security Supervisors and Officers to maintain order throughout the hotel. Update all check out information within 1 hour of opera system update. Run a full audit on the CID on regular basis at least once a week. Maintain proper filing system to keep all rooming lists, actual arrival and departure list related to the CID daily update process. Establish contact with CID officers on the area and maintain a report with other CID operators in nearby competitors. Ensure all emergency calls are attended as top priority is given to these calls.
