</div> <div>Under direct supervision, assists the Service Supervisor during all phases of providing slickline services. Assists with pre-job product and service equipment preparation (assembly, test, mobilization) and service performance at the well site. Assists with post-job mobilization, clean up and repair of service equipment and products. Repairs/redresses well pressure control equipment in preparation for the next job. Assists with process documentation as prescribed by HMS. Applies all relevant company HSE policies and procedures in all aspects of the job. Given the nature of oil field service work, all employees must be able to execute written and verbal instructions and effectively exchange information with peers and superiors that will increase the likelihood of job success. Every employee must be able to work as an effective team member. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is also required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required as well. Basic computer skills are preferred. This is a development position with the expectation that all Service Operators will advance to the Service Specialist position. Develops and demonstrates general knowledge of all slick line services and related products. Develops and demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the slick line tools and related products provided in his/her geographic area. <strong>Primary Purpose of the Job</strong><br><p>Plan, supervise, coordinate and control the collection, analysis and evaluation of petrophysical data for well and reservoir studies and support well operational activities. Generate appropriate field development plans and provide petrophysical support for QatarEnergy operated oil fields. As a member of interdisciplinary reservoir study teams, participate in reservoir management activities. Mentor staff and advise management.</p><br> <br><strong>Required Experience and Skills</strong><br><span>Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience</span><p><strong><span>Required</span></strong></p><br><ul><li><span>Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry with 6 years' experience doing a combination of petrophysical studies and operations. Experience with a focus on acquiring, evaluating, and interpreting petrophysical data. This includes advanced logging techniques and the ability to define hydrocarbon contacts and assess reservoir potential accurately.</span></li><li><span>Must have a thorough understanding of open hole (both wireline and MWD/LWD), cased hole and production logging tools.</span></li><li><span>Enhance reservoir characterization through the integration of various data sets, including petrophysical, geological, and dynamic data to reduce uncertainties in reservoir simulations.</span></li><li><span>Strong competency in quality control of petrophysical data, ensuring reliability and accuracy in routine and complex log analysis.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Experience in deploying new petrophysical technologies and methodologies to optimize field development and asset value.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Strong teamwork skills. Experience working in a multicultural environment.</span></li><li><span>Effectively communicate with peers, less experienced staff, field staff, and management.</span></li></ul><p><strong><span>Desirable</span></strong></p><br><ul><li><span>Ability to guide and improve the processes related to petrophysical data acquisition and interpretation, ensuring the application of industry best practices and the incorporation of innovative approaches to subsurface characterization.
