<p>The Construction Manager provides on-site administrative, technical management, and leadership for the design and contract compliance, and construction of large multi-million-dollar Government funded construction projects at a specified project site. This position will be in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) and it is located at Al Udeid Air Base (AUAB), Doha, Qatar. Essential Responsibilities: Construction Manager shall read, interpret, and decipher all construction documents (schedules, specifications, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc.), participate in design reviews, and ensure that all construction is performed in accordance with the construction documents. Construction managers shall review construction sites daily, document the reviews on AF Form 1477, and file the documentation in the project folder. Construction managers shall also review shop drawings and product submittals and provide recommendations through the Site Manager.</p><p>Physical Requirements/Working Environment • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable. • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions. • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
