In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant work environment by implementing and enforcing health, safety, and security protocols. You will play a critical role in protecting our organization's assets, personnel, and operations while ensuring adherence to local and international HSE standards.<br><br>Conduct regular security patrols and surveillance of company premises, including buildings, parking areas, and restricted zones Monitor and manage access control systems, CCTV cameras, and alarm systems to ensure facility security Identify, assess, and document potential health, safety, and security hazards throughout the workplace Investigate security incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions Enforce compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and Qatar labor law requirements Respond promptly to security breaches, emergencies, and safety incidents; coordinate with emergency services when necessary Conduct safety inspections and audits to verify adherence to established protocols Maintain accurate and organized records of security incidents, inspections, and maintenance activities Provide security briefings and HSE training to employees on relevant policies and procedures Collaborate with management and other departments to develop and improve safety and security initiatives Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) across the organization Monitor visitor access and maintain visitor logs in compliance with security procedures<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Proven experience as a Security Officer, HSE Officer, or similar role in a corporate or industrial environment Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices Familiarity with Qatar labor laws and local HSE compliance requirements Proficiency in security systems, access control, and CCTV monitoring Excellent analytical and risk assessment skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Exceptional organizational and record-keeping skills Ability to remain calm and make decisive decisions in emergency situations Physical fitness and ability to perform regular patrols and inspections Proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis Knowledge of emergency response procedures and protocols Preferred: First aid/CPR certification or equivalent Preferred: Previous experience with security clearance processes Preferred: Leadership or supervisory experience in security or safety roles Preferred: Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
