Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Supervises the transmission and the distribution of gas through Central Master Control Stations (CMCS), monitors Pipeline Management System (PMS) and Metering System at CMCS/TDOC, controls manifold and let-down stations, ensuring that these are working efficiently and that any faults are speedily reported and that each consumer receives sufficient to all continuity of operation. Supervises the maintenance of SCADA & PMS and ensures faults are speedily attended to for minimum outage of pipelines and stations monitoring. Supervises and coordinates the distribution of gas through stations and associated pipelines & its distribution to local customers. Ensures that gas is distributed safely and efficiently and that maximum use is made of available resources.<br><br>Develops and directs safe working practices in all areas and ensures all regulations are adhered to. Any wrong decision could result in normally shutdown of any one the consumers equivalent to several Millions/ day or shutdown of Gas distribution, which could result in revenue losses and severe downstream effect to power stations supply. Job Description<br><br>Job Purpose:<br><br>To manage and oversee the preservation of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment during project execution. The role ensures equipment integrity is maintained through effective preservation practices, monitoring, and documentation, supporting a safe and successful project handover.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Preservation Execution<br><br>Implement and manage the Project Preservation Plan for static and rotating equipment, piping systems, electrical & Instrumentation components, capital spares & special tools.<br><br>System Management<br><br>Maintain and track equipment logs in a Preservation Management System (PMS) (such as Hexagon, Win PCS, or similar).<br><br>Defect Reporting<br><br>Monitor environmental conditions (humidity, temperature) and report any deterioration or anomalies to the warehouse and site managers.<br><br>Activities<br><br>Monitor Mechanical and EIT, Capital Spare and Special Tools equipment’s storage (short / long term) and perform necessary preservations Ensure the Preservation related activities are prepared and tracked using system Preservation record sheet and preservation history and records are made available at any time until the equipment is formally transferred. Ensure Preservation has been performed correctly and formally recorded into database system. Ensure tools and equipment’s are adequate to achieve expected level of preservation requirements.
