<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><br><br><p><strong>Commissioning Activities</strong></p><br><br><p>. Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical systems, including MV/LV switchgears, HV and distribution transformers, MCCs, VFDs, UPS and DC systems, generators, and control panels.</p><br><br><p>. <li>Ensure reliable operations of the stationary and mobile Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AAQMS) in assigned areas through continuous monitoring of the equipment performance.</li>

<li>Monitor the activities of the outsourced Operation and Maintenance Contractor at site by reviewing daily reports, calibration reports, maintenance activities/reports, and Quality Control activities performed to ensure proper operation of the stations.</li>
<li>Ensure property and equipment are secure.</li>
<li>Verify that the spare parts interchanged by the contractor are original and as per approved specifications.</li>
<li>Control all operational and maintenance activities at the ambient air quality stations and ensure all control systems related to the ambient air quality networks.</li>
<li>Review and evaluate data to detect possible abnormalities related to the functioning of the stations and report to the section for further action.</li>
<li>Keep records of all station inventories, data, reports, logs, and certificates to ensure traceability of results generated.</li>
<li>Maintain systems to track schedules for maintenance, calibrations, and re-certifications on a timely basis and verify compliance by the Contractor.</li>
<li>Report HSE statistics of the Contractors on a monthly basis.</li>
<li>During emergencies, be available 24x7 and participate in incident investigations and provide ambient air quality and meteorological data to the investigating team.</li>
<li>In case of incidents, ensure movement of the mobile monitoring AAQM station to the incident location by obtaining proper permits and securing power supply, etc.</li>
<li>Accompany and assist the Technical Systems and Performance Audit Contractor during scheduled audits.</li>
<li>Conduct independent first-party internal audits to verify AAQM station performance.</li>
<li>Make regular station visits to oversee overall station functions (e.g., AC maintenance, generator tests, pest control, and general maintenance of the stations).</li>
<li>Raise SAP requests and coordinate with the maintenance division for overall station maintenance.</li>
<li>Maintain and raise SAP requests for troubleshooting Air Quality Modelling Servers.</li>

<li>Diploma in Electronics / Instrumentation / Meteorology / Environmental / Science (Chemistry, Physics) or equivalent qualification.</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years Ambient Air Quality Monitoring-related experience, preferably directly related to the O&M activities of Ambient Air Quality Stations.</li>
<li>Possess a valid Qatar driving license.</li>
<li>Professional certification or license from a credible meteorological, environmental, or related association/society is an advantage.</li>
<li>Technical understanding of air quality monitoring and environmental/meteorology requirements is essential.</li>
<li>Upper Intermediate English (QP Level 6).</li>
<li>Proven ability to organize and perform responsibilities with minimum supervision.</li>
