Job Content</strong></p><br> <p><strong>Role Objective: </strong>To provide architectural engineering support for the successful delivery of Design & Build interior fit-out projects by reviewing designs, monitoring construction activities, inspecting architectural works, coordinating technical interfaces, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.</p><br> <p><strong>4.1 </strong><strong>Key Accountabilities</strong></p><br> <ul><li>Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical submissions for compliance with project specifications, Company standards.</li><li>Inspect and monitor all architectural and interior fit-out works including partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors, glazing, joinery, furniture, decorative finishes and specialist architectural elements. </li><li>Coordinate with the Design & Build Contractor, consultants and specialist subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of architectural, structural and MEP works. </li><li>Monitor construction progress and workmanship, identify quality deficiencies, issue observations and non-conformance reports (NCRs), and verify corrective actions. </li><li>Review mock-ups, material samples and prototype installations prior to full-scale implementation. </li><li>Attend site inspections, progress meetings and technical coordination meetings, preparing inspection reports and progress updates. </li><li>Verify completed works for interim payment applications and assist in the review of variation proposals related to architectural works. </li><li>Participate in snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning and final handover inspections. </li><li>Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, contract documents, Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), Qatar Civil Defense (QCD) requirements and applicable international standards. </li><li>Assist in maintaining project records including RFIs, site instructions, inspection requests, quality documentation and as-built records.</li><li> <ol><li><strong>General Responsibilities in Quality, Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems </strong><ol><li>Aware of the QHSE Management System.</li><li>Understand the importance of conformance to the QHSE Policy and procedures and to the requirements of QHSE management system.</li><li>Aware of the Customer Requirements (where relevant).</li><li>Aware of the Significant Environmental Aspects and Occupational Hazards / risk in this area of operation.</li><li>Understand the potential consequences of deviations from approved procedures, specifications and safety requirements.</li><li>Aware of current Objectives and Targets in this area and what is the current status.</li><li>Aware of mergency Preparedness & Response.</li><li>Aware of Security Requirements, sexual exploitation and abuse or gender based violence.</li></ol></li></ol></li></ul> <p><strong>Part 5. Job Requirement</strong></p><br> <p><strong>Educational Qualifications</strong></p><br> <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.</li><li>Professional registration is preferred.</li></ul> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p><br> <ul><li>Minimum 10 years of professional experience in architectural design, construction supervision or project management.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in high-end commercial office fit-out projects.</li><li>Experience in Design & Build contracts is essential.</li><li>Experience in Qatar and familiarity with UDC, Qatar Energy or major corporate office projects is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), Qatar Civil Defense requirements and local authority approval processes.</li></ul> <p><strong>Behavioral Competencies</strong></p><br> <p><strong>Technical Competencies</strong></p><br> <p>Leadership</p><br>
