Oversee the operation, maintenance, testing, calibration, replacement, and performance monitoring of all types of water metering systems to ensure reliable and accurate measurement. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to water meters, metering accessories, communication devices, and associated systems to maintain operational reliability. Monitor water meter installation, replacement, upgrade, commissioning, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, project schedules, and technical requirements. Review and analyze water meter performance data, identify trends and operational issues, and prepare technical reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance water metering technologies, measurement accuracy, asset reliability, and operational efficiency. Develop, implement, and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize the performance and lifecycle of water metering systems. Conduct technical inspections, site assessments, testing, and verification of water metering installations to ensure compliance with approved specifications and contractual requirements. Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Responsible for environmental engineering and compliance activities associated with onshore greenfield and brownfield project scopes. Experience assessing environmental risks related to decommissioning, abandonment, and demolition of existing facilities. Strong communication, presentation, and conflict management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining oversight of critical technical issues and risks. Ability to identify technical issues and escalate them appropriately to project management. Strong teamwork, collaboration, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities. Expertise in lightning protection (IEEE 998, IEC 62305) and 400 k V overhead line/cable systems, including transient analysis (IEC 60071), cable bonding (IEEE 575), and reactor design. Experience with SAFOP, RAM analysis, ECM/EMI studies. About the Role In this role, you'll be the go-to person for maintaining and supporting distributed SCADA systems built on AVEVA System Platform across multiple tunnel sites. You'll help ensure continuity, stability, and compliance—directly contributing to the safe and seamless operation of one of Qatar's key infrastructure networks. What You'll Be Doing Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for SCADA nodes and control rooms. Troubleshoot software, communication, alarm, and system performance issues. Handle system patching, backups, redundancy checks, and failover testing. Monitor historian data, alarms, system integrations, and overall SCADA health. Maintain logs, RCA reports, maintenance documentation, and change records. Work closely with OEMs, consultants, and internal teams for improvements and escalations. Support activities related to cybersecurity, asset lifecycle, and system upgrades. What You'll Bring5–6 years of hands-on SCADA maintenance experience (infrastructure/utilities experience is a plus). Job Summary As a professional expert in outfitting and architecture, an approver or reviewer, provide and check the implementation strategy, implementation plan, interface management, basic data, risk control, professional engineering scheme and documents of outfitting and architecture, identify potential risks of the project and formulate reasonable countermeasures. Job description:<br><br> Job Purpose Deploy and implement asset-based process safety, loss prevention and risk engineering objectives, providing critical inputs and facilitation to ensure compliance with relevant standards. Deliver appropriate advisory to asset(s) and relevant customers in advancing excellence in process safety and risk engineering, including across associated assets/facilities, brownfield projects and interfacing major capital projects.
