<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <ul> <li>Provide technical expertise in onshore structure and infrastructure aligned with department objectives in meeting Company strategy.</li> </ul><br><ul> <li>Prepare Conceptual Study, Design Basis, and civil/structural/infrastructure design as per Specifications and International Codes such as BS, API, AISC, AWS, OCIMF, PIANC, ISGOTT, ASCE, ACI, AISC, AASHTO, USACE, UBC and Qatar National Construction Standards.</li> <li>Provide technical expertise support to all company Assets (Operations) identifying the timely solution of structural engineering to ensure Asset Integrity and Reliability sustaining Safe and Continuous Plant Environment.</li> <li>Provide civil/structural engineering technical support to maintenance and throughout Project Life Cycle (Pre-FEED/FEED/Detail Design stages) ensuring Quality and Flawless execution.</li> <li>Perform Economic/Financial Evaluation of all Feasibility Studies and Opportunities.</li> <li>Develop Concept Packages and civil/structural engineering detailed drawings as per Company Project Management Systems.</li> <li>Perform all the necessary complex/high level analysis as per the applicable specification or codes along with computer analysis software e.g. STAAD for onshore and SACS (or equivalent) for offshore.</li> <li>Provide civil/structural SME technical support in all sessions of RCFA, RHAZOP, RA, Lifting, Excavation Certificate, Inspection Program, etc.</li> <li>Liaise with consultants or shareholders, represent to external agencies and conduct technical presentations.</li> </ul><br><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering.</li> <li>4 years' engineering experience in an oil and gas environment.</li> <li>Fluent in English language (demonstrated verbal and written skills).</li> <li>Computer literate, and competent with a variety of engineering software tools.</li> </ul><br><ul> <li><strong>Salary:</strong><ul> <li>Day Rate in USD Plus Allowance</li> </ul></li> <li><strong>Work Schedule:</strong><ul> <li>8 Hours / 5 Days</li> </ul></li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Duration:</strong> <ul> <li>2 years, with possible extension</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Location:</strong> <ul> <li>Qatar</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </div>
