<span><br>POSITION SUMMARY<br>Install, maintain, perform preventative maintenance on, and recommend replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment. Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, etc. Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves. Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed. Maintain inventory and purchase orders log. Inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Enter and locate work-related information using computers. Operate power lift. Complete the life safety checklist, including the fire-pump run test and generator run test. Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems. Assist in development of disaster response protocols. Respond and attend to guest repair requests.<br>Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities. Develop frameworks to categorize and quantify the impact of systemic CX issues.<br><br>Retention & Churn Analysis<br><br>Analyze customer lifecycle data to understand key drop-off points and churn predictors. Build dashboards and recurring reports tracking retention, reactivation, and re-order behavior. Identify cohorts at risk and provide insights for lifecycle interventions.<br><br>Behavioral Segmentation & Journey Mapping<br><br>Partner with Data and Product teams to map behavioral patterns across acquisition, onboarding, and engagement. Design and run analyses to evaluate the impact of experiments and personalization efforts. Translate findings into opportunities to improve support workflows, user flows, and proactive CX strategies.<br><br>Insight Delivery & Stakeholder Influence<br><br>Deliver insight-packed presentations and reporting to stakeholders across CX, Growth, Product, and Strategy teams. Collaborate with CRM and VoC owners to inform messaging, targeting, and support enhancements. Support the continuous improvement of CX KPIs and feedback loops.<br><br>????♂️ The Magic You Bring<br><br>3–5 years of experience in analytics, customer insights, or business intelligence roles in tech, consumer, or service industries. Job Description<br><br>The Surveyor I is an entry or junior-level position for new graduates and/or those candidates with less than five (5) years of experience in an applicable industry. The Surveyor I, under a direct supervisor, performs work involving conventional surveying practices. The primary function is to develop the ability to effectively examine and report on vessels and other marine structures during and after construction relative to compliance with the applicable requirements for maintaining the vessel in Classification with ABS and meeting associated statutory and special service requirements related to Safety of Life at Sea, Loadline, Tonnage, Cargo Gear and Pollution Prevention Certification.<br><br>What You Will Do (with the assistance and guidance of an experienced ABS Surveyor):<br><br>Acts as a professional specialist for the organization in the application of related rules, regulations, requirements, concepts, principles, and processes. Performs routine surveys on classed vessels, platforms, or other marine structures and at manufacturers for classification and compliance with statutory requirements. Prepares technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys performed. Engages in contact with clients to resolve problems within areas of expertise. Maintains survey files in an orderly and up-to-date manner in the area of responsibility. Develops the skills necessary for the administration of office procedures and monitoring of business performance at an assigned port. Through broader and more technically challenging work assignments, the individual must develop a thorough understanding of field operations, policies, methods, and procedures. <br><br>What You Will Need:<br><br>Education and Experience<br><br>Qualifications from a tertiary institution within a relevant field of engineering or physical science (minimum two (2) years program); or Qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant seagoing experience as a certificated ship officer, and Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the scope of statutory certification and services and, before assignment, with their future work. Knowledge of computer programs or software packages related to job responsibilities. Knowledge of related technical interfaces required for group project work. Knowledge of ships' engineering systems and machinery. Ability to communicate, orally and in writing, pertinent information relative to assigned area of technical expertise. Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions. Responsiveness to customers and the ability to work well with others. Ability to become familiar with the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems. <br><br>Physical Requirements:<br><br>Where allowed by local laws, a pre-employment physical examination is mandatory. The role of surveyor/auditor requires sufficient physical strength, stamina, agility, and both visual and auditory acuity to perform the listed duties effectively. The ability to climb vertical ladders up to nine meters and navigate steep steps is essential. Shall be capable of working at heights on various staging and lifting equipment. Shall be able to maneuver in tight spaces and work inside confined areas for extended periods, including kneeling and crawling. The role may involve exposure to industrial environments, potential injury risks, extreme weather conditions, and demanding physical activities. Shall be able to lift at least 25 lbs. / 11.34 kgs. The use of small tools and the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), in accordance with ABS safety procedures, may be required. Where allowed by local laws, the surveyor will be required to successfully complete an annual physical that will recertify the individual can perform the physical actions required. <br><br>Reporting Relationships:<br><br>Will report to the Principal, Senior, or Surveyor-in-Charge of the assigned port. Perform Safety screening of project scopes. Able to analyse existing safety systems to establish adequacy and identify gaps Hands on experience of conducting Hazardous Area Classification, Safety layout Assessment, Emergency escape route assessment. Experience in Fire engineering activities like Fire Zone determination, Firewater demand calculations and Firewater network hydraulics. Preparation of third-party scope of work, bid evaluation, and post-award coordination to ensure smooth progress of safety and environmental workshops. Participating and preparing reports for project HAZOP, HAZID, SIL studies, and other safety workshops when required. Able to perform Physical Hazard Effects (PHE) modelling and able to review Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA). Experience in conducting F&G mapping. Co-ordinating with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up. Providing technical support to site as required. Producing and reviewing specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports, and design calculations; ensuring that they conform to engineering quality, competence, and project management systems. Presenting a client facing leadership role, build confidence and maintain communication with client through formal and informal meetings. Being focused on delivery and maintaining progress in line with project schedules. Leading and mentoring of junior engineers. Demonstrate full ownership of technical safety related scope. Proficiency with Shell DEP is highly desirable.
