JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVEDevelop and implement environmental policies and programs by conducting studies, providing reports, communicating guidelines and directives from environmental authorities, evaluating its effectiveness to ensure regulatory compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.<br>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESPeople Management Supervise the activities and work performed by the direct report to ensure that it is carried out in an efficient and effective manner, in line with the annual business plans, and Environmental Department’s policies and procedures. Recommend training and development interventions for the direct report to build capabilities.<br>Regulatory Environmental Compliance Maintain an updated library of environmental-related Qatari laws and regulations, international standards and industry practices, evaluate to ensure all regulatory changes are incorporated to relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and systems, complied and disseminated. Process the applications and timely renewal of all environmental permits to local authorities, including but not limited to consents to operate and environmental clearances. Ensure all concerned Units/Sections/Departments/Groups are timely updated in any changes of environmental regulatory requirements related to their respective areas, and make sure they have proper tools to monitor and report compliance. Resolve any legal environmental requirement issues with the authorities by collaborating with concerned Units/Sections/Departments/Groups in setting compliance plans to determine feasibility of new regulations/limits.<br>Environmental Policies and Programs Develop and update the Environmental Management Program to meet legal requirements and management systems along with all supporting environmental procedures for monitoring, waste management, pollution prevention and auditing. Develop policies, programs, forms and training packages to be implemented and seek Management’s approvals to support the implementation. Audit the environmental policies, plans, programs and procedures periodically to determine its effectiveness and to enhance/revise if necessary. Plan the implementation of control programs with the Operations Group for adherence to the applicable environmental standards, developed policies and best practices. Ensure team members comply with all section’s policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.<br>Implementation of Programs and Continual Improvement Establish and maintain effective environmental monitoring and reporting program for air emissions, water discharges, flaring, noise, and others by using sophisticated modelling techniques in conducting site studies as regulated by local authorities and advice Production Department on compliance. Verify daily environmental monitoring data and report non-compliances immediately to Management and concerned parties. Coordinate with the RLIC on environmental surveying studies for onshore facilities and nearby marine environment or any other similar studies. Participate in various HAZOP studies with other engineers and Safety Department and review MOC's to ensure adequate environmental controls in place. Perform regular systematic review of potential environment impacts and follow up on the recommended preventive or corrective actions resulting from any environmental incident, pollution prevention, or registered aspect/impact to ensure compliance in shortest time possible. Support the Environmental Specialists as and when required.<br>Environmental Reporting Prepare and submit periodic environmental monitoring and performance indicator reports to Management, local authorities, and shareholders. Plan and communicate resources required for fully adherence to annual plan, plant metrics and other specific tasks. Analyse reports and provide guidance to the Management for decision making during/after environmental events through scientific evaluation of environmental impacts and modelling of impact extension.<br>Quality, Health, Security, Safety and Environment Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental procedures and controls across the Section to guarantee employee safety and delivery of high-quality products/services.<br>Qatarization Contribute to the development of Qatari employees. This accountability is applicable to expatriate employees only.<br>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEEducation Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Environment, Chemical or Process Engineering Preferred: Master’s Degree in Environment, Chemical or Process Engineering<br><br>Experience Required : Total of 5-7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in Environment Department. Preferred : Experience in Petrochemicals Industry. 2-3 years at an Engineer/ Specialist / Professional level or 7-10 years as Environmental Technician or Officer.<br>Other Job Specific Requirements and/or Vocational Accreditations HAZMAT – Level 1 minimum ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Inventorying Air Emissions and Water Discharges Wastewater Treatment and Reuse / Waste Management Knowledge in PID's & PFD's MS Office Applications / SAP & Share Point<br>Languages Required : English - proficient Preferred : Arabic - working knowledge

Provide assurance that dimensional surveys are carried out on fabricated structures and piping spools, including all fabrication marine interfaces.<br><br>Accountabilities:<br>Develop, plan, and implement dimensional survey programs in accordance with project specifications and schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources, tools, and equipment. Review and interpret project drawings, models, and specifications to prepare a comprehensive Dimensional Control / Measurement Plan, identifying intervention points in coordination with the Project Quality Lead. Plan and execute surveying and dimensional verification activities for fabrication, assembly, and installation phases, ensuring all mating interfaces (fabrication, marine, structural, piping, and module connections) are accurately measured and that “best-fit†alignment scenarios are evaluated and established. Ensure strict adherence to the Dimensional Control Inspection & Test Plan (DC ITP) at all stages of project execution and update the plan to incorporate design revisions or scope changes. Review, validate, and formally approve dimensional control reports, submitting them to the Project Lead or Client Representative as required. Maintain detailed and traceable records of all dimensional inspections, survey data, and control activities in accordance with project and company documentation standards. Manage and track all Dimensional Control (DC) survey requests, ensuring timely completion, accurate documentation, and clear reporting of results. Verify that all surveying instruments and equipment (e.g., Leica, SOKKIA, Topcon) are calibrated, certified, and within validity before use. Ensure all Dimensional Control personnel are working with the latest approved drawings and project specifications (AFC status). Liaise and coordinate with Client Discipline Representatives, production team, Quality Inspectors, and Fabrication Leads to resolve dimensional discrepancies and ensure alignment with project requirements. Supervise and mentor Sr./dimensional controllers, providing guidance, training, and technical oversight to ensure high-quality deliverables. Promote teamwork and effective communication between fabrication, installation, and survey teams to achieve dimensional accuracy and schedule compliance. At least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role overseeing dimensional control teams, coordinating survey operations, and ensuring compliance with project quality standards. Extensive hands-on experience with precision surveying and measurement equipment such as SOKKIA, Leica, Topcon, or equivalent instruments. Demonstrated expertise in the surveying and dimensional verification of structural assemblies, piping spools, and modular components during fabrication and installation stages. Proficient in reading and interpreting structural drawings, piping isometrics (ISO), GA drawings, and fabrication layouts.
