About the Role We are looking for a strong Site Reliability Engineer to own and continuously improve the reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence of our production systems. You will be responsible for the infrastructure and reliability layer behind our commerce platform, including AWS, Kubernetes, networking, databases, search infrastructure, observability, CI/CD, incident response, and production operations. Maintain and improve database reliability, including Postgre SQL performance, backups, monitoring, replication awareness, connection management, and incident handling. Support and optimize Elasticsearch/Open Search usage for catalog/search workloads. Build and improve observability across the platform, including logs, metrics, dashboards, alerts, tracing, and actionable production monitoring. Improve incident response processes: detection, triage, mitigation, postmortems, and prevention of repeated issues. Strengthen CI/CD pipelines and release processes to make deployments safer, faster, and more reliable. Work closely with backend, mobile, product, and operations teams to support new features and ensure production readiness. Review architecture and infrastructure decisions with reliability, cost, security, and scalability in mind. Help secure the platform through AWS security best practices, WAF rules, IAM hygiene, network controls, secrets management, and vulnerability awareness. Monitor and optimize cloud costs without compromising reliability.
